Morrison is an incompetent fool promoted far, far beyond his ability.
    Australians really deserve their politicians.

  2. Tintarella di Luna

Scott Morrison is smug, conniving and mendacious – he has been prepared to destroy our economic prosperity in order to rehabilitate his standing with the electorate after his abysmal decision to head off for Hawaii with his cronies with bushfires raging when the media’s carrion birds were after him for winning the unwinnable election and making them all look ever so foolish, again.

  3. Given the way that the Federal government is going with Australia, renewables and all the other crap, if not yet, you may all be Victoristanis soon enough.

    He sure did.

  6. Crazyoldranga

    Victorian lives matter.

I’m flying to Adelaide in the morning to pick up a truck and bring it back to Victoriastan. I should be able to make that last at least two days 😀

  7. NoFixedAddress

    Of course we are.

The myth of representative government has been blown out of the water with the complete exposure of our true State and Federal Public Service Government.

  8. Spurgeon Monkfish III

    We’re all Victorians now

Get ready for the rate of suicides to skyrocket.

  9. Angus Black

If we’re all Victorians, can we get together to vote Chairman Dan out?

  10. H B Bear

Nah SloMo. That’s the beauty of Federation. They can go and f*ck themselves … oops too late … they already have.

  11. Archivist

It means nothing. It’s vacuous and facile and insincere.

  12. Professor Fred Lenin

Thrash those Orientals and have that girl washed and brought to …
    Oh wait.
You meant those Victorians, not the good ones.

TAKFAS might consider making this widely known?

“ROME (Reuters) – The new coronavirus is losing its potency and has become much less lethal, a senior Italian doctor said on Sunday.

““In reality, the virus clinically no longer exists in Italy,” said Alberto Zangrillo, the head of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan in the northern region of Lombardy, which has borne the brunt of Italy’s coronavirus contagion.

““The swabs that were performed over the last 10 days showed a viral load in quantitative terms that was absolutely infinitesimal compared to the ones carried out a month or two months ago,” he told RAI television.

“Zangrillo said some experts were too alarmist about the prospect of a second wave of infections and politicians needed to take into account the new reality.

Now, if we assume we have roughly the same strain here, no need for lock downs.
    Of course, Communists *love* lockdowns…
    Power power and more power…..mwuhahahahaha

    This is bloody interesting….
    From Your ABC…
A Jetstar flight from Melbourne to Sydney landed at SydneyAirport at 6:53pm with 48 passengers.
    There were 2 other flights.
There was media already there awaiting to film the complete disregard of coronavirus restrictions on such movement.
Resistance to the insanity appears to be building.

  16. Fat Tony

All this criticism of our politicians….pfftt

The main stream media is the problem

    Idiots in charge:
“Annoyed Murray River communities in Victoria’s northwest have been forced to detour more than 100km after bridges were shut due to the coronavirus border closure. Some bridges have even been padlocked shut with school students, teachers, health staff and farmers, who usually travel across the border multiple times each day, made to travel significantly further just to get to work. Between Robinvale and Swan Hill – a distance of more than 130km – there are no crossings open, even for people who have a permit to enter NSW.”

That sentiment was superb, and moving, when it was expressed by Chirac after September 11 – today it came across as hollow rhetorical over-reach, and would have jarred with many outside, and more than a few inside, Victoria.

On the other hand, the swift and emphatic negative response to a reporter who asked if there would be special Jobkeeper arrangements for Victorian was good to hear.

    “We’re all Victorians now.”

So Dan is running Oz and Scotty-from-Marketing is taking notes?
    Thought so.

    Australians really deserve their politicians.

No, we don’t; we deserve better and the average voter knows it.

Survey after survey has shown this.

  22. Ubique

When I lived and worked in the Eastern States, we commonly used to refer to Victorians as Mexicans as they came from south of the border. We got it wrong. They actually come from a lot further south of the border. As in Venezuela.

  23. They actually come from a lot further south of the border. As in Venezuela.

Venezuela is north of Victoristan. In fact way, way north. If you’re going to poke fun at something, at least get your facts right first.

  24. Megan

I heard that. I screamed many, many profanities at the screen.

He is a tone deaf idiot. And I am being unkind to tone deaf idiots.

  25. mh

This could be Morrison’s ‘Knights and Dames’ moment.

  26. Rohan

Now Gladys is touted as wanting to redraw the border north of Albury.

As a long suffering Viktoriastani, I find this hilarious. At this rate Beijing Dan will acquire NSW up to and including Coffs Harbour, before Christmas.

This could be Morrison’s ‘Knights and Dames’ moment.

  28. Hay Stockard

I held Morrison beneath contempt. It seems he has risen. What a whether cock.

When I hear that the ADF will be deployed alongside VicPol to ensure people who live in the Melbourne Metro area don’t leave that area “without a valid reason”, I am reminded of Berlin when the wall went up.

That the Federal Government allows this is shameful. It is reprehensible that Dan Andrews mandates it, and especially when it comes to locking down the high-rise towers – what’s next? Welded-in residents?

Clearly Dan Andrews has lost the plot, but also the Federal Government. Do we wait until someone is shot when the “cross the border” before people wake up?

If we truly value individualism and libertarianism, we must allow free movement around the state, and “public health concerns” should not be a limit on those values; they should only inform those values so people can decide for themselves.

BTW – why isn’t the resident troll here supporting individualism and libertarianism? Is it because he agrees with Dan Andrews? The troll supports “open borders”, doesn’t he?
