“Very very dead,” Desai says. “Super quiet. Yesterday I was open from 7.30 until 12 in the afternoon, and I made $30.” Pre-pandemic his average taking was $1,200.

Two women out for a run on LaTrobe Street – using one of the four reasons you’re allowed to leave home – are rugged up in North Face puffer jackets, tights, gloves and beanies for the brisk Victorian winter, masks covering their faces. One kicks the pedestrian button at the traffic lights in a move that has become all-too familiar.

Now, under stage four, Andrews hopes that by driving another 250,000 workers back home, in addition to the 750,000 already either working from home or stood down, the outbreak can be brought under control by mid-September.

“If I want to close it forever, who is gonna buy my business? It’s only one year and I was getting to a point where I want to be. And then this came.”

Mentally Ill Professor Invented Bisexual Native American Persona Who ‘Died’ Of COVID-19

A former assistant professor who was denied tenure at Vanderbilt University for sending threats to colleagues was busted running a years-long ‘hoax’ – in which she invented an online persona on Twitter claiming to be an oppressed bisexual, Native American geologist.

BethAnn McLaughlin created the persona, @Sciencing_Bi, in 2016 while working as an assistant professor of neurology at Vanderbilt. After being denied tenure in 2017, McLaughlin left the university in July of 2018 – going on to found MeTooSTEM, a nonprofit organization aimed at advising scientists who are the victims of sexual harassment.

The anonymous account, @Sciencing_Bi, was an active participant in the corner of Science Twitter that frequently discusses issues of sexual misconduct in the sciences. It claimed on at least one occasion to have grown up in Alabama, to have “fled the south because of their oppression of queer folk,” and to have attended Catholic school. The account began to pointedly make reference to being Native American and, earlier this year, began to identify as Hopi.

Then, McLaughlin decided to kill off @Sciencing_Bi, announcing in April that she had contracted coronavirus – which she publicly blamed on Arizona State University, which she says made her teach in a lecture hall with 200 people.

Last Friday, BethAnn McLaughlin announced that @Sciencing_Bi had died of the virus.

She should’ve waited until November 4, so that the imaginary bisexual Amerindian geologist could vote for Joe Biden first.

US imposes sanctions on Hong Kong’s chief executive among other Chinese officials

The US Department of the Treasury has issued personal sanctions against eleven Chinese officials, including Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam. Washington blasts each as responsible for the “degradation of Hong Kong’s autonomy.”

The reasons listed for sanctioning each individual relate to their actions against Hong Kong protesters and their ties to China.

“The United States stands with the people of Hong Kong and we will use our tools and authorities to target those undermining their autonomy,” Secretary of the Treasury Steven Munchin said in a statement about the sanctions, which were accomplished through an executive order from President Donald Trump.

Coronavirus Victoria: Brett Sutton says COVID-19 case numbers ‘not good enough’

“We are at 400 to 500 cases each day, more or less the average over the last week,” he said.

“That is not good enough, but it’s a positive that we have averted an exponential increase through the last couple of weeks.”

“If we hadn’t stabilised these numbers, we would have seen thousands of cases per day and there are estimates that we’ve averted 20,000 or more cases by virtue of the stage three restrictions,” he said.

By my rough estimate, the virtue of Stage 4 Lockdan has averted nearly 6 million or more cases.

Delingpole: Australian State Goes Full Coronafascist

“We had to smash car windows and pull people out because they wouldn’t give us details… they wouldn’t tell us where they’re going”, declares a senior Australian policeman dressed from head to toe in black.

“We had to smash car windows and pull people out because they wouldn’t give us details…they wouldn’t tell us where they’re going” @ClarkeMicah @JamesDelingpole @AlistairHaimes @hector_drummond @V5M1000 https://t.co/FJcA4nMz4o

    — Ronan Maher (@MaherRonan) August 5, 2020

No, this is not a scene from a prequel to Mad Max where Australia gets taken over by fascists. This is actually happening right now in the Australian state of Victoria, under the regime of power-crazed, hard left premier Daniel Andrews. (Or ‘Kim Jong Dan’, as he is known locally.

Victoria has adopted some of the strictest coronavirus rules anywhere in the world, including an 8 p.m. curfew and police roadblocks to discourage any citizens with pesky notions about personal freedom.

Police are even allowed into your home to carry out spot checks — without a warrant and without your permission.

One or two Australians are resisting and Victoria’s Police Commissioner Shane Patton is responding with the full force of the law.

“Groups of people who classify themselves as ‘sovereign citizens’ — whatever that might mean — people who don’t think the law applies to them: we’ve seen them at checkpoints baiting police, not providing their name and address.”

“On at least three or four occasions in the past week we’ve had to smash the windows of people in cars and pull them out of there so they could provide their details because they weren’t telling us where they were going. They weren’t adhering to the Chief Health Officer guidelines. They weren’t providing their name and their address.”

So presumably, in order to justify these extreme measures, the state of Victoria must be experiencing an exceptional, indeed, unprecedented crisis?

    Nope. Not remotely.

In the state of Victoria there had been just 162 deaths attributed to coronavirus. Even in the whole of Australia the total was only 247.

To put this into perspective, this is less than half the number of people who die in Australia every year from skin diseases, and about one-fifth of the number killed in car accidents.

All for a disease that even if death rates double, won’t kill as many Australians as skin diseases. pic.twitter.com/FB6Tr1OB4m

    — Richard Delingpole (@DickDelingpole) August 5, 2020

Australia likes to call itself ‘The Lucky Country’. It prides itself on its no-nonsense, independent, good-humoured, matey culture and its aversion to petty rules and regulation.

But clearly Victoria’s premier Dan Andrews — and his various black-clad henchmen — hasn’t got the memo.

Here — courtesy of Lockdown Sceptics — are the new rules imposed on Victoria’s state capitol of Melbourne, to be enforced for at least the next six weeks:

The “state of emergency” in Victoria has been upgraded to a “state of disaster”, meaning police can now enter your home to carry out spot checks even if you don’t give them permission and they don’t have a warrant.
Between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., you’re not allowed to leave your homes except for work, medical care and caregiving.
Outside those hours, you may only leave your home for four reasons: shopping for food and essential items, care and caregiving, daily exercise and work. “We can no longer have people simply out and about for no good reason whatsoever,” said Kim Jong Dan.
Daily exercise can only take place within a 5km radius of your home and cannot last longer than an hour.
You cannot exercise in groups of more than two, even if they’re members of the same household.
Apart from daily exercise, you are only allowed to leave your home once a day for essential supplies and food.
In the whole of Victoria, you cannot buy more than two of certain essential items, including dairy, meat, vegetables, fish and toilet paper.
Schools have closed again, with all Victoria school students returning to remote learning from Wednesday (except for vulnerable children and children of permitted workers). Childcare and kindergarten will be closed from Thursday.
Golf and tennis venues, which were open, have now been closed.
Weddings will no longer be allowed from Thursday, and funerals will be limited to 10 people.
Face nappies anywhere outside your home have been mandatory for people in metropolitan Melbourne since July 22nd, but that rule has now been extended to the entire state of Victoria.
You cannot have visitors or go to another person’s house unless it is for the purpose of giving or receiving care. However, you can leave your house to visit a person if you are in an “intimate personal relationship” with them, even during curfew hours. So no “bonk ban”.
If you have a holiday home or were planning a holiday outside Melbourne, tough cheese. You must remain in the city for the next six weeks.
The maximum fine for breaching a health order currently stands at $1,652, but Kim Jong Dan said he would have more to say about penalties later today, i.e. he’s going to increase them.

Perhaps the most depressing thing of all is that a lot of Victorians appear to be enjoying Kim Jong Dan’s iron grip.

According to this ‘postcard from Melbourne’ from one of the few dissenters in Victoria, one enthusiast of the draconian rules and regs has actually produced a homeware range featuring portraits of the Covidfascists responsible: Minister for Health Jenny Mikakos; Premier Dan Andrews; Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton.

Eat your heart out Mad Max. The future’s here and it’s even scarier than the Thunderdome.

If they didn’t qualify they aren’t going to be on the ballot. Period.

Betting on an impossibility. The definition of a suckers bet.

  49. areff

I note that the Acting CMO is principal of a very expensive research project at Monash Health called Flu Can that relies on grants and other rearch funds that tracks flu related impacts.. My question is who has done the research to back up this claim given the virus is current and therefore long term research seems rather impossible. I also note that while I am sure the gentleman in question has the best interests of the public at heart could it be a conflict of interest for the Acting CMO? What also concerns me is that the CMO was suggesting tracking of young people and containment measures that may not be necessary and will create extreme anxiety among thousands of young people for years to come.

The left are really fucking stupid. They can’t think properly.

Sen. Sanders proposes one-time tax that would cost Bezos $42.8 billion, Musk $27.5 billion

Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., Ed Markey, D-Mass., and Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., on Thursday introduced the “Make Billionaires Pay Act,” which would tax tech’s top leaders tens of billions of dollars in wealth made during the pandemic.
The “Make Billionaires Pay Act” would impose a one-time 60% tax on wealth gains made by billionaires between March 18, 2020, and Jan. 1, 2021.
The funds would be used to pay for out-of-pocket health-care expenses for all Americans for a year.

Okay, they propose a one time billionaire tax. All these dudes have most of their net worth in stocks. Would stock prices remain at current levels or take an enormous swan dive?

    Have you tried DMT though?

No. I have access to good acid but am not that interested in further trips. For some people trips, conversion experience, and near death experience are life changing events, a radical transformation of their values and understanding of life, the universe, and everything. I’d like to delve into the neuroscience of it but at present that is mostly arm waving. Consciousness is something of a con job because our bodies perceive so much but our consciousness of that is tiny and through a glass darkly. For me trips are enjoyable events that are best done planned with the appropriate entertainment and people. As for those who say hallucinogens are dangerous and silly well they are often too anxious about life, too scared of “losing control”, or moralising fools who don’t know what they are talking about.

Dingoes have gotten around 6-9 per cent bigger over the past 80 years, new research from UNSW and the University of Sydney shows — but the growth is only happening in areas where poison baiting is used. (Science Direct, 3 Aug, via the Oz)

While both male and female dingoes grew, female dingoes had the biggest growth spurt: their skulls increased by 4.5 millimetres, which is almost 9 per cent body mass. Male skulls grew by 3.6 millimetres, or 6 per cent body mass.

A senior Department of Jobs official has been shifted from their role as evidence mounts that the decision to use private security guards at Melbourne’s quarantine hotels was partly driven by a well-meaning attempt to provide jobs under “social inclusion” policies.

A leaked email from another public servant, the department’s deputy secretary for inclusion, also paints a picture of how rushed the implementation was, describing “heroic efforts” over a weekend in late March as bureaucrats became “expert in the delivery of hotel concierge services”.

Departmental sources insisted on Saturday that the official’s secondment to another senior job creation role was not a reflection on their performance in contracting private security firms for hotel quarantine.

Media reports from 2013 reveal the official had professional dealings with the Sydney-based security company given much of the hotel quarantine work, Unified Security, in their previous role as general manager of work and learning at the Brotherhood of St Laurence.

The charity and Unified established a partnership in 2012 to provide security training and jobs for marginalised people. The official also did some work with Unified in 2019 in finding a small number of positions under a Jobs Victoria project.

As an Indigenous-owned company, Unified satisfies the government’s criteria for contracts under its social inclusion procurement policy. It won the security contract for Metro Trains last year and specifically referred to its Brotherhood of St Laurence partnership in briefing documents supplied to government.

Steven Hatfill, a veteran virologist, noted at RealClearPolitics that “There are now 53 studies that show positive results of hydroxychloroquine in COVID infections. There are 14 global studies that show neutral or negative results — and 10 of them were of patients in very late stages of COVID-19, where no antiviral drug can be expected to have much effect.”

Hatfill continued, “Of the remaining four studies, two come from the same University of Minnesota author. The other two are from the faulty Brazil paper, which should be retracted, and the fake Lancet paper, which was.
“Two recent, large, early-use clinical trials have been conducted by the Henry Ford Health System and at Mount Sinai showing a 51% and 47% lower mortality, respectively, in hospitalized patients given hydroxychloroquine. A recent study from Spain published on July 29, two days before Margaret Sullivan’s strafing of ‘fringe doctors,’ shows a 66% reduction in COVID mortality in patients taking hydroxychloroquine. No serious side effects were reported in these studies and no epidemic of heartbeat abnormalities.”

One example Hatfill cited that shows the drug has been effective in Switzerland, which briefly banned hydroxychloroquine after the bogus studies linking the drug to higher mortality rates came out.

Just think how many could have been saved if they had continued dispensing “Orange man bad” drug…

    https://twitter.com/mattmargolis/status/1291743230304890880/photo/1

“Looking at the evolution curve of this index for Switzerland,” explain Michel Jullian and Xavier Azalbert for FranceSoir, “we note a ‘wave of excess lethality’ of two weeks from June 9th to 22nd, with a lag of a dozen days compared to the period of suspension of the use of hydroxychloroquine by WHO. This demonstrates, without possible rebuttal, the effect of stopping the delivery and use of this drug in Switzerland (country which follows the recommendations of the WHO, based in Geneva). During the weeks preceding the ban, the nrCFR index fluctuated between 3% and 5%. Some 13 days after the start of the prohibition, the nrCFR index increases considerably to be between 10 and 15% for 2 weeks. Some 12 days after the end of the prohibition, the lethality falls back to a lower level.”

    The Hiroshima Myth

Every year during the first two weeks of August the mass news media and many politicians at the national level trot out the “patriotic” political myth that the dropping of the two atomic bombs on Japan in August of 1945 caused them to surrender, and thereby saved the lives of anywhere from five hundred thousand to 1 million American soldiers, who did not have to invade the islands…

    Computers are racist.

The overwhelming ‘Whiteness’ of artificial intelligence—from stock images and cinematic robots to the dialects of virtual assistants—removes people of colour from the way humanity thinks about its technology-enhanced future.

This is according to experts at the University of Cambridge, who suggest that current portrayals and stereotypes about AI risk creating a “racially homogenous” workforce of aspiring technologists, building machines with bias baked into their algorithms.

They argue that cultural depictions of AI as White need to be challenged, as they do not offer a “post-racial” future but rather one from which people of colour are simply erased.

The researchers, from Cambridge’s Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence (CFI), say that AI, like other science fiction tropes, has always reflected the racial thinking in our society.

They argue that there is a long tradition of crude racial stereotypes when it comes to extraterrestrials—from the “orientalised” alien of Ming the Merciless to the Caribbean caricature of Jar Jar Binks.

But artificial intelligence is portrayed as White because, unlike species from other planets, AI has attributes used to “justify colonialism and segregation” in the past: superior intelligence, professionalism and power.

I never knew Jar Jar Binks was from the Caribbean. As for Ming the Mercilless, is a Swede playing an Asian racist against Swedes or Asians?

Whiteness of AI erases people of color from our ‘imagined futures’, researchers argue (5 Aug)

    https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-gates-india/false-claim-bill-gates-faces-trial-in-india-for-testing-vaccines-on-children-idUSKBN22V27F

A spokesperson for the Gates Foundation confirmed to Reuters via email that the allegations in the claim are false. There is no pending lawsuit against Gates or his foundation in relation to this. The vaccine trial in question was not illegal, though it was later halted and has been the source of controversy in India.

The claims refer to a Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine study conducted by the U.S. non-profit organization Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH). The study, which was financed by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was cancelled in 2010 after local media reported the death of seven girls taking part ( here , here ).

The study was cancelled in 2010 following local media reports highlighting the death of seven girls taking part. Science Magazine reported that investigations carried out by a committee designated by the Indian Government later determined the deaths were unrelated to the vaccine demonstration:

“Five were evidently unrelated to the vaccine: One girl drowned in a quarry; another died from a snake bite; two committed suicide by ingesting pesticides; and one died from complications of malaria. The causes of death for the other two girls were less certain: one possibly from pyrexia, or high fever, and a second from a suspected cerebral hemorrhage.” ( here )

There is no proof that either programme killed or disabled anyone.

Diamond Good-Rim, the trannie kiddies story teller has a win against a conservative critic:

David van Gend The Spectator Australia 8 August 2020

Two friends of mine are being harassed by the government. Both men have criticised the more lurid aspects of LGBTQ+ culture and both men have been slapped with a summons for ‘offending’ exponents of that culture. Exponent A is one Diamond Good-Rim, host of Drag Queen Story Time for kiddies at Brisbane City Council libraries. ‘Rim’ refers, of course, to the anus and ‘good’ affirms its homosexual utility. ‘Diamond’ might refer to the big diamond ring adorning the long sculptured penis on this Drag Queen’s Facebook page. Facebook might be exactly the place kids will visit to learn more about their colourful entertainer. And once there, they will see (besides bejewelled bollocks) that Diamond also entertains adults – indeed, as the queen of porn: winner of the 2019 Adult Entertainment Industry XAward, Drag Queen/King category.

Friend A is one Lyle Shelton, who headed the No case on same-sex marriage and exposed the background of Diamond Good-Rim and another drag queen story teller, Queeny, at his blog in January. Lyle gave his opinion about Brisbane City Council inviting an anally-eponymous penis-posting porn star and a cross-dressing woman seeking double mastectomy to address school children: he opined that they are ‘dangerous role models for children’.

For that word ‘dangerous’, Lyle is being dragged by the queens before the Queensland cadre of the Thought Police for alleged trans-vilification. The Anti-Discrimination Commission has scheduled compulsory conciliation for 13 August in Room 101. Mr Shelton refers to said Commission as a kangaroo court, which is an insolent smear of an honest marsupial, and writes in his recent blogpost: ‘I will not be apologising. I will not be taking my blog down. I will not amend it.’

Lyle acknowledges that his recalcitrance means the Commission can hand him over to the Tribunal who can issue a fine and send him to re-education camp; when he refuses, they can hand him over to Her Majesty’s jailer. At which point, we will need to crowd-fund Lyle’s case to the High Court to see if their Honours think government agencies should be used by activists to intimidate a conservative’s constitutional freedom of political communication.

For it is always and only conservatives who are targeted under our ‘offence’ laws. That is due to the cunning bias of laws that forbid the causing of offence on matters sexual: progressives are sexually permissive and say no to nothing, so they never cause offence; conservatives hold to traditional values and must say no to some things sexual, so they always cause offence.

The genius of the anti-discrimination apparatus is that it appears neutral but only censors conservatives….

The other friend is Bernard Gaynor.

I have to say you’re right. I’d be interested in the fertility rates of the aristocracy – those who genuinely don’t need to work. Gates was born into moderate wealth but had to build his business.

I mean find a woman who comes into wealth and see how many children she has, and see if she regrets not having as many as possible. Would have Queen Victoria had less children given the choice? Would have she regretted it if she did?

  217. JC

I may be wrong about her having kids, I’m not wrong about her ideas on population control.

Anyone, anyone who interferes with that shit has god issues.

Oh okay. How many kids do you have?

And what is wrong with empowering women?

    Let me start with:
What problems exist in the world today?

Exactly why I like it here sometimes.
    Boooom
    I am smiling.

    Today in JD 4110 maintenance:

Fixed the three point linkage draft lever floppiness. Fixed the three point linkage broken speed control adjustment. Repainted the markings on the plastic lever covers so you can tell what they do. Got the seat adjustment working again. Washed the seat cover. Made room in garage and parked “Trentham” there.

Tonight’s job is to measure and draw up a bonnet fuel cover hatch for 3D printing.

Only 4 trips down the driveway with the little bloke steering for “test runs”. We’ve noticed that small tractors in suburbia make people smile and wave!

  221. JC

So as long as the brown people don’t reproduce, she’s happy.

Along with quite a few commenters here too. When I’ve often said population is really a function of technology and that we shouldn’t be concerned about Africa’s population trajectory for two reasons, I’ve hailed down because most think a large chunk of the increase will end up in Europe.

  222. Struth

Oh okay. How many kids do you have?

It doesn’t matter, I’m not concerned with who is having babies and who isn’t and I’m definitely not trying to control the situation.
    That’s the point.

But your answer just the one boy, now man.

The place always has a knack of getting back to some sense of balance after a leftwing loon like De Blasio and Dinkins.

I understand the lure of NYC. I trained there for a few months and love the history of the place and the truly wonderful ethic neighborhoods.

But I’d rather be in a place where the vagaries of the morons doesn’t determine the safety of my family.

Nor will I intentionally support a taxation system designed specifically to force me to pay people not to work.

And what is wrong with empowering women?

    here

And this one explains why importing minority voters is a core Demonrat activity.

  225. Struth

Cassie, if women are equal to men, why do they need empowering, and who should do it for them?

  226. JC

    It doesn’t matter

Well actually it does because you’re espousing an opinion that I want to see if you’ve held to it.

But your answer just the one boy, now man.

Oh, so without getting too personal.. married people presumably have sex reasonably often. Why didn’t you have more children?

Struth…Melinda Gates is not childless. She and Bill have three children. And what is wrong with empowering women? Educated empowered women don’t want to have ten children, they want smaller families.

I think you are wrong. She is having more than average, and certainly more than average in her demographic cohort. Plus they all had a good chance to survive, unlike in 1800.”

How am I wrong? Three children is a smaller family than sixty and seventy years ago…before birth control. Good on Bill and Melinda for having more than the “average now”. And yes…thanks to vaccination those children will survive unlike even 120 years ago.

Exactly Cassie. The remark that Gates want brown people dead is absurd because The Gates Foundation has vaccinated millions of children. Nor is Gates easily manipulated. He is far too intelligent and tough minded to let others dictate to him. I don’t know why there are people here who want to shit on Bill and Melinda. They are the better kind of people in the world. Some may not agree with all their goals but they are making an effort to improve the lives of millions.

    The Hiroshima Myth

The work that this relies on, by Gar Alperovitz, has largely been discredited.

As for the notion that Japan was trying to surrender, this is not what was beheld by America’s leaders who were reading the secretly decrypted internal communications of their counterparts in Japan.

In the summer of 1945, Emperor Hirohito requested that the Soviets accept a special envoy to discuss ways in which the war might be “quickly terminated.” But far from a coherent plea to the Soviets to help negotiate a surrender, the proposals were hopelessly vague and recognized by both Washington and Moscow as no more than a stalling tactic ahead of the Potsdam Conference to prevent Soviet military intervention — an intervention that Japanese leaders had known was inevitable ever since the Soviets’ recent cancellation of their Neutrality Pact with Japan.

Japan was not trying to surrender. Even after the obliteration of two cities by nuclear weapons and the Soviet declaration of war the militarists in firm control of the Imperial government refused to admit defeat until their emperor finally forced the issue. They had argued that the United States would still have to launch a ground invasion and that the subsequent carnage would force the Americans to sue for peace leaving of much of Asia firmly under Japanese control.

I think tomorrow is looking like a blown Op, struth.
I’ll cruise by for a Captain Cook and see if any mad lads are prepared to poke their head up though.
Anyone know what time kickoff is??

    LOL, Calli.

Hope the family are all happy and healthy. XXX.

As long as I have made people think about the Gates foundation as not just Bill, and Melinda’s agenda needs more scrutiny, as she’s wearing the empowered pants in the couple as I see it…….but either way she should not be overlooked for a second when it comes to the foundation.

  232. Wow.

    Good graph.

LOOK AT THIS GRAPH…da ding ding ding da ding…

    https://ourworldindata.org/fertility-rate

How long did it take for fertility to fall from 6 children per woman to fewer than 3 children per woman?

The decline of the fertility rate is one of the most fundamental social changes that happened in human history. It is therefore especially surprising how very rapidly this transition can indeed happen.

This visualization shows the speed of the decline of fertility rates. It took Iran only 10 years for fertility to fall from more than 6 children per woman to fewer than 3 children per woman. China made this transition in 11 years – before the introduction of the one-child policy.

We also see from the chart that the speed with which countries can make the transition to low fertility rates has increased over time. In the 19th century it took the United Kingdom 95 years and the US 82 years to reduce fertility from more than 6 to less than 3.
This is a pattern that we see often in development: those countries that first experience social change take much longer for transitions than those who catch up later: Countries that were catching up increased life expectancy much faster, they reduced child mortality more quickly and were able to grow their incomes much more rapidly.

Not just “empowered women”, also more leisure time, more spent on leisure, higher quality goods and services, more investment in each child. It is simply part of growing the K/L ratio. It seems to be a natural tendency.

Women are equal to men, they are different from men, each compliments the other. Women are the helpmeet, the warm, soft place in the heart of the family, the delight of their husband and the nurturer of their children.

They are expected to work. Hard.

If you’re interested, look up Proverbs 31. Here’s a little sample:

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
