What the media did to that young man was a disgrace. He was sixteen for goodness sake. And he did nothing but stand still and let the idiots mock him.

And his own school and the diocese basically disowned him.

I want that fellow to win…bigly.

We have a covid “victim” at work. (WA)

She has been made redundant but cant move back to Victoria because she cant even give the current tenants notice to leave her house because its “against the law’.
One of those things the “top men” never considered might happen.
So shes stuck asking the company to allow her another month in the minesite accommodation.

Someone will go loco sooner or later, people are very uptight and on edge.

Just pray somebody doesn’t do something stupid with a gun in public. The Fascists now running the show would like nothing better than to have an excuse to confiscate everybody’s firearms.

    Got it Nick.

  6. Geriatric Mayfly

Despite several suggestion could never get the sand out of the buggers and gave up on grinding my teeth down to the gums. Banned in many areas, because some of our new arrivals don’t know when enough is enough. And our own resident and greedy entrepreneurs as well made their mark. A bloke who owned a bait shop in a popular recreational fishing district, used to drag harrows through the sand behind a tractor, scoop up every pippi and freeze them for sale to anglers.

Another memory from Monkey Mia. Pippies! Stand in the sand with the water splashing at you feet and do the twist. You’d feel them quickly as you burrow down. We would collect a bucket load and have them on hot plate within an hour. Probably banned today?

  7. Mater

Mrs L has made up a list of LockDan jobs for me.
I told her that there was no point on account of the forthcoming Armageddon, Apocalypso and Doomsday and stuff.

I told Mrs Mater that when Bob and his mob come for our house, they can fix the bloody gutters. I figure I’ll save my energy for the re-education camp – digging canals, hoeing roads 😉 and the like.

The Fascists now running the show would like nothing better than to have an excuse to confiscate everybody’s firearms.

Pretty much what has been happening in Canada in the last few months after the Nova Scotia thing in April. Chinese crud has been an excellent cover for the gun grab.

  9. MemoryFault

One of those things the “top men” never considered might happen.

They didn’t consider because they don’t care Mole. Sooner or later people have to stop believing this is all happening as a result of bungling and incompetence, or “unintended consequences”.

It happens because they intended it to happen, or they don’t care that it did or could happen.

  10. Makka

Despite several suggestion could never get the sand out of the buggers

Soak them in fresh water for maybe 45 mins before steaming. Just keep swirling them around in the pot. Pretty much all the sand is expelled and falls to the bottom.

FNQ pippies , steamed and the meat removed, then lightly fried in oil or butter, garlic , add some cream, poured over fresh pasta. With a dry Reisling, excellent!

Nicholas Sandmann and his lawyers are playing for keeps

On behalf of Kentucky teenager Nicholas Sandmann, Atlanta defamation lawyer Lin Wood sued CNN, The Post, the New York Times, Gannett, Rolling Stone, ABC News, CBS News and NBC News. At issue is the coverage of those outlets of a January 2019 confrontation at the Lincoln Memorial between Sandmann, then a student at Covington Catholic High School, and Native American activist Nathan Phillips. CNN and The Post have agreed to settlements. The other cases continue chugging along.

Twitter appears to be next. And then? “After the Twitter complaint is filed, there is a strong likelihood that a number of individuals who falsely attacked and threatened Nicholas on Twitter will be sued,” noted Wood in an email.

In a chat with the Erik Wemple Blog, Wood displayed the same bravado: “If there is anybody who published a false accusation against this boy, whether it be on Twitter or the mainstream media, that has not yet been sued, they should not sleep well for the next several months,” says Wood, who noted that his team and Sandmann would make a decision on their next steps “over the course of time.”

New LockDan “Rules” – accident prevention subsection:

    – no climbing ladders
    – no power tools
    – no tools of any description, including anything sharp from the kitchen
    – no cooking or barbecuing
    – no lawnmowing

You could say he has a pocketful of Wapo Wampum.
Headline numbers of $265 meg and $250 meg.
Now, he wouldn’t have got those ambit numbers, but he wouldn’t have settled for the price of a cup of coffee either.

  25. Ed Case

Yes Zulu, he claimed to be a Vietnam era veteran.
Tricky phrasing, but within the letter, if not the spirit of the law.
The guy is obviously Gay, that’s what young Nick found so funny.
Because of our Uber P.C. information atmosphere, the MSM weren’t explicit about this aspect, which was the only thing that really got up their noses.

Interesting to surmise what sum would be sufficient for Sandman (and especially his lawyers) to go away, in light of the size and liquidity of CNN and WaPo. Versus what sum would be too much, thereby causing them to fight it out.

You’d have to think around $10 mill each. If so his high school education will have been extremely lucrative in providing him about $100 million to buy MAGA hats with, plus a really good lesson in how the world works.

Really, Sandmann wasn’t “laughing”…..he smiled (in a dignified manner) in the face of an aggressive grub by the name of Nathan Phillips, who was clearly invading Sandmann’s personal space and clearly trying to provoke a reaction from Sandmann.

Didn’t they have something similar in Shintaro; star knives or something:

  65. Anne

Last week my friend was on a Melbourne train without a muzzle.

She was approached by multiple PSOs (public suppression officers) demanding to know why she wasn’t wearing a mask.

She advised that she had a medical exemption. One POS demanded to know what the medical reason was.

My friend told him that was a matter between her Doctor and herself.

She was then asked to provide identification papers. She refused saying that she’d committed no crime and asked the PSOs for documentation authorising them to ask that question.

She was harassed about being outside the 5kms radius from her home which she was not. (Not that that is a reasonable directive)

At that point she was manhandled and handcuffed.   A police sergeant was called over and took away her phone.

She accused them of stealing her property and false arrest.  The sergeant then put the phone back in her handbag and she was released.

Then, when she alighted the train she was again stopped in the street by police for mask non-compliance and handcuffed a second time.

Third arrest! On her return trip she was again put through the same ordeal. No handcuffs this time.

Not one person stood up to defend her or question the totalitarian intimidation.

If every tenth person were as courageous as this woman these fascist bastards would be on trial.

Emma Alberici takes ABC to Fair Work CommissionNick Tabakoff

    8 minutes ago August 9, 2020
    No Comments

Emma Alberici dispute with the ABC is escalating fast. Diary has learnt that the ABC’s chief economics correspondent has now taken her gripe with the ABC to the Fair Work Commission.

A commission spokesman confirmed on Friday that a “preliminary hearing” took place via phone hook-up on Thursday morning, in a case listed as “Alberici v Australian Broadcasting Corporation”.

The hearing has come after Alberici fired an early shot across the bows over the ABC’s decision to potentially make her position job title redundant. As Diary revealed last week, Alberici sent a letter to the ABC detailing claims of unfair treatment by some of her colleagues.

Legal representatives for both parties are understood to have been in last week’s phone hook-up, with Alberici’s representatives making her case under Section 739 of the Fair Work Act. The early skirmishes of what the ABC will no doubt hope is not a long-running case were presided over by commission deputy president Val Gostencnik.

As we noted last week, the ABC had already been preparing its lawyers to handle any legal fallout from her potential redundancy.

Alberici had called in her lawyers in 2018 following controversy over her much-discussed analysis piece on corporate tax, which upset then prime minister Malcolm Turnbull.

    Breaking, from the Oz.

    Evening, Cassie.
Who knows? Something will happen to convince people we are not just dealing with bungling and incompetence, but that something far more sinister and permanent is unfolding.

At that point over half the regulars here will disappear. First out the door will be, as I say, that small group of deadshits who are only here to shit stir anyway – Low Lowe, Nick, Matrix, Bespoke, and a couple of others. Don’t know about Knuckles.

Most of the Lady Cats will go too – not out of cowardice, but because women have different priorities, as Calli so eloquently pointed out yesterday. Maybe, you, Calli, Gab, Delta and one or two others might be left.

I don’t know what that means, Cohenite. Symbolic of being silenced, gagged?

It’s certainly that but I think it’s also a humiliation ritual. The last hurrah for a puppet class rapidly losing power.

    Smarter Shutdowns

In places like Melbourne, Australia, and Harris County, Texas, health officials have created numerical and color-coded threat assessments that tell officials and citizens exactly what to do, based on how extensively the coronavirus is spreading in their communities. The highest alert levels call for full-on shelter in place, while the lowest call for careful monitoring of high-risk establishments.

I’m calling BS on it. I have no idea exactly what I can and can’t really do.

Alberici had called in her lawyers in 2018 following controversy over her much-discussed analysis piece on corporate tax, which upset then prime minister Malcolm Turnbull.

I thought the “controversy” was over the ABC paying a large six figure sum a year to a Chief Economics Correspondent who didn’t understand the difference between gross revenue and net profit, and refused to learn.

  101. Gab

something far more sinister and permanent is unfolding.

What level of tyranny before you become concerned

Why do you think joking and mucking around and “concern” don’t co-exist? They do.

Everyone processes and reacts differently. You do it your way, I do it mine. You might be surprised how seriously the gallows humour brigade takes the events swirling around us.

There are all sorts of stories about heroism and cowardice from those you least expect. The most important thing is that when it comes to the crunch, you stand.

This has been swirling around in my brain all week. If anyone had said in January that a Melbourne would be under an actual curfew by July, not to mention the other multitudes of infringements on our freedoms, such as three policemen physically restraining a single middle aged woman when they couldn’t be bothered going after one drug addled, murderous dickhead in a car, not one person of my acquaintance would believe them.

    Yet, here we are.

But Calli is right, there are lots of ways to live through this and humour is one of them. Still doesn’t really answer the question for me though. How far will they go to imprison us because of their utter incompetence and unwillingness to be accountable? And at what point will you say ‘Enough’ and actually stand up?

  111. Struth

I meant what I said. Heroes and cowards are not immediately identifiable.

    Non-violent resistance
Robust defence of your remaining civil rights

Do not provoke the authorities unnecessarily
Unpopular here – but remove all sitting members of the uni party from their seats next election
Demand transparency in government affairs, like the security contracts
Demand release of the COVID data
Absolutely minimise your taxes as much as legally possible
Join the major political parties and disrupt them, unseat sitting members or presumed preselection candidates
Where possible, use legal action to block government action or demand damages from them
Demand the government set a time limit on the restrictions
Demand the government resign if their strategy does not work

Given that everything done so far has been 100% successful without anybody being held “accountable”, what will it take before you stop thinking they are just incompetent, or that they are unwilling to be held “accountable?

Truth be told, both Morrison and Andrews are quite happy to publicly brag about their “accomplishments”, so far.

There was this haunted house on the outskirts of the town which was avoided by all the townfolk – the ghost who ‘lived’ there was feared by all.

However, an enterprising journalist decided to get the scoop of the day by photographing the fearsome phantom. When he entered the house, armed with only his camera, the ghost descended upon him, clanking chains et al.

He told the ghost “I mean no harm. I just want your photograph”.
The ghost was quite happy at this chance to make the headlines. He posed for a number of ghostly shots.

The happy journalist rushed back to his dark room, and began developing the photos. Unfortunately, they turned out to be black and underexposed.

This is my sixth day of lockdown, and apart from missing Thursday lunch at the pub and not nipping around to the shops, it hasn’t made any difference. Except I’ve been getting fat and drinking too much Drambuie. Unlike some, I still have my sanity, as far as I can tell. I’ve had the cops around twice. I get a daily txt message from public health asking if I have any symptoms: they give a long list of possible symptoms, including a runny nose, and I can’t help thinking that just about everyone in Oz must have at least one of them.

I don’t suspect the police or public health of conspiring to take over the country. They’re all being quite considerate. Just not very intelligent.

I reckon that the powers that be like the idea of frightening the pants off everyone so as to get credit for protecting us when we live through it. And many seem to fall for it. Including the public health and cops. It’s understandable if scarcely admirable.

Trump Walks Out of Presser After Reporter Won’t Stop Talking

Donald Trump did another presser from his golf club in New Jersey today. Like yesterday’s, it went fairly well for the President, with him announcing sweeping executive action to help American families. In essence, he dared the Democrats to sue and block the move after they’ve stonewalled any progress on a Congressional relief package. Regardless of what you think of the principles behind such actions, he obviously has the legal precedent to do it after Obama’s presidency and it’s a very smart political play that boxes in Nancy Pelosi.

The press conference ended up closing down early though, with Trump walking out after a reporter refused to let him call on someone else after she had already asked her question.

Men Must Accept This Reality: There are Nearly ZERO Marriageable Women 1 hr, 6 minutes

Cappy tries to introduce a concept that all men must understand, especially those searching for traditional marriages. There are nearly ZERO marriageable women. And you’re chances of marriage are also zero.

I just saw what happened to Dr. Dre. She’s about to take 60% of his $800m on top of spousal support after 24 years of marriage. That is crazy. The courts give women way too much power in marriage. This is a horror story.

I spent $300,000 in legal fees in the divorce , lost my house, 3 cars , a dog and 2 kids plus $500 a month in child support to get away from my corporate Type A exwife. Totally worth it. Married life sucked out loud. Everything was my fault, her jealousy was off the scale. I think she cheated 5 times. She almost drove me to suicide. The aftermath: The money went to the lawyer. Exwife sold our house that I renovated, the 3 cars broke down, rusted out and were scrapped, dog was euthanized without telling me, kids were poisoned against me havent talked to me in 5 years. Child support money went to amazing annual Caribbean cruises. She remarried some divorced man 10 years older than her because she was running out of money, she remarried to pay for our 2 kids colleges. That man is doomed, dead man walking. Me? Im by myself, get to do what ever I want. I have freedom. Chasing women is pointless. Who actively pursues a parasite? Why invite misery into your life? Enjoy your box wine and cats Ladies. Gentlemen, be free, live well.

Why don’t WE, organise, and do the same?

    Good morning Gilas.
I take your point, but you re late to the party.

Both Struth and I accept that it may very well come to that, Struth even more so than me. And we are both prepared to go whatever lengths necessary, including violence and armed resistance. I can’t speak for Struth, but I already have a close knit group prepared with me, to stand, and if necessary, fall, defending what we believe in

    Well, Struth.
    Are you in or out?
Do you support Faulty’s call to arms?

    Simple question.

    Yes or no?

Numberwank is pointing to a rant by Harry Clarke that I have now incorporated into our Liberty Quote collection. Note that Clarke’s former blog site in now hosts Japanese porn.

Poor ol’ Syphilis Steve from Br!zlamabad’s blog is also verboten (unsafe, i.e. nuclear grade collectivist idiocy leavened with creepy content*).

which state has the yuuuugely big shade sail schnozzes?

Disasterstan, of course. We used to joke about why Disasterstanians all had (without exception) massive honkers.

Because air is free (until labore and the greenfilth slap a new tax on it) …

  192. Knuckle Dragger

Remarkably scant detail in The Hun:

‘A spokeswoman for Victoria Police confirmed that seven people had been arrested at Sunday’s ‘Freedom Day’ rally. Officers also handed down 27 fines to protesters for breaching the Chief Health Officer’s directions. Six people were arrested after they refused to provide their details to police.

‘All six were released after they gave officers their details and were each slapped with a $1652 fine. Twenty-four of the fines issued at the protest were for breaching CHO directions for leaving home for a non-essential reason, while one person was fined $200 for not wearing a mask.’

  193. feelthebern

I read earlier today that all four body cams will be released from the George Floyd death.

  194. feelthebern

BTW, has the body cam footage from the NT indigenous death been released yet?

  195. Leigh Lowe

Teamwork LL. My colleague adjudged her out of her ground later. Whilst chatting post wicket he said ‘I was a bit unsighted by the sun but she was probably out. I thought you’d be happy with that.’

Always give the white line the benefit of the doubt.
I played with a particularly roguish bunch of chaps years ago where a shortage of umps meant the batting side had to supply a square leg ump.
Four seasons. Not one stumping or run-out given
    Verboten by club president.
    Word got around the comp.
    Complaints made but not proven.
Then, just like that, if the proper official smelt that there was a bit of creativity going on a square leg, the itchy trigger finger came out to balance the scales.
Rough justice, but hard to argue with.

  196. Spurgeon Monkfish III

one person was fined $200 for not wearing a face nappie

    VenOztraliastan! F*ck yeah! 😡 🤬

Interesting, KD. Didn’t they have ALP membership tickets (the Victorian get out of jail free card), genuine or forged, in their pockets?

    Disasterstan or Sicktoria?

  198. Knuckle Dragger

However, plenty of detail here – also via The Hun:

‘Whether COVID school closures and the long wait to see a specialist led to the suicide of 15-year-old Geelong schoolboy Abe Knox, his parents may never know for certain. But they firmly believe both played a part in his May 29 death.

‘A talented sportsman and keen gardener, the Year 9 St Joseph’s College student loved nothing more than being with his mates.

‘Speaking to the Herald Sun as they drove to collect their boy’s ashes on Friday, Rylie and Phil Knox said Abe told them repeatedly how hard he was finding home schooling and not being able to socialise with his friends. He also missed refereeing basketball, which was his passion and purpose.

‘A kid who struggled academically and preferred sport and manual labour to essays and homework, remote learning was tough on Abe, who had always needed extra, hands-on help. Worried about their son’s growing anxiety levels, the family tried unsuccessfully for more than a month to secure an appointment with a Geelong paediatrician or psychiatrist to review, and perhaps adjust, Abe’s small daily dose of the antidepressant fluoxetine.

“He had mentioned he felt a bit ‘cloudy’ recently on the medication,” Ms Knox said. “And he’d questioned what the point of everything was, which worried us … I rang around, but couldn’t get him in anywhere.”

‘Abe died without being seen by either a paediatrician or psychiatrist this year.’

Andrews and his pseudo-medical social inclusion fuckers have a LOT of explaining to do.

  199. Zulu Kilo Two Alpha

I read earlier today that all four body cams will be released from the George Floyd death.

Had the idea that had already been done, since they had been leaked to the Daily Wail.

  203. DrBeauGan

    Hang in there Dr B.
If desperate watch old episodes of The Brady Bunch on Hulu.

If things get that bad, suicide looks a better option, BoN. The only serious problem I face ATM is running out of Drambuie. But I’m very brave. Also, my local booze shop is delivering to me, and also extending credit until I am freed. So I expect to survive. 😊🥴

  204. Pedro the Loafer

    Well done KD.

Even though T20 is cartoon cricket, and even more so when played by sheliahs, the umpire’s word is final.

An aggrieved player can show dissent plenty of other ways , e.g spitting, scowling, arching eyebrows, making suggestive comments to deep fine leg (not the umpy) stamping feet, tying shoelaces for a couple of minutes, etc.

All of which will be ignored by the umpire, as part of the selection and training of umpires consists of developing hide like a rhinoceros and selective vision and hearing.

    A strange admission I thought.
    Now it makes sense.
A friendly at the Hun has given his press-sec a heads-up that a few suicide stories are in the pipeline.

Not in Western Australia at least – the Family Court there had the power to “set aside” a pre nup.

Their ABC will no doubt have an “expert” on who will be suitably head-tiltingly sombre, but provide the required advice.

The federal government’s controversial COVIDSafe app has been credited with tracing a “significant” transmission event in Sydney’s west that involved the tracking of more than 500 people.

Deputy Chief Medical Officer Nick Coatsworth said of the 544 people traced by the app, two later tested positive to coronavirus.

    That’s from the Oz.
That makes no sense at all.
The fact that only two people tested positive would mean that it wasn’t a major event.
& how would any random sample of 544 compare with unsolicitied testing.

Great! He’s going to ban them from the CBD. I’m voting for Baz.
