Have these people never heard of Thalidomide?

These political nongs who run our Parliaments, and who seem never to have run across the concept of personal freedom, have boxed themselves into quite a problem. They have no idea how to call off the Covid dogs. Even with the media exaggerating its dangers, most people are no longer really frightened by it. If we were bringing out the dead on a daily basis, lockdown would happen without a quibble. That the issue is we are not allowed to go away on holidays or in the formerly free state of Victoria, leave home after 8:00 pm is an insanity that exists because without the full force of the law, we would be acting as if there is nothing going on, which is pretty close to the reality. The suppressed news on Sweden and other places is quite a revelation. The media do not report, but have an agenda of their own, and it is virtually all to the hard left. Why this should even be a left-right issue is incredible in itself. Joe Biden, after all, promised from Day One to enforce the compulsory wearing of masks if he is elected.

Andrew Bolt at least does what he can to keep them honest: Voters pressured to blindly trust blundering governments. There we find:

Take Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

He claimed last week to have signed a deal (actually just a letter of intent) to distribute a new vaccine (actually not proven) to every Australian to protect them from this virus.

Then he took out his big stick. He would force us to take this vaccine — make it “as mandatory as you can possibly make that” — as soon as it passed its trials.

True, by Wednesday afternoon, Morrison realised he sounded awful, and supposedly “back-pedalled” on forcing us: “I mean, we can’t hold someone down and make them take it.”

But by the next day, Health Minister Greg Hunt was suggesting many other ways Morrison could indeed force you to take it. By holding back welfare payments, for instance. Stopping your kids from going to school.

Hunt wouldn’t even rule out stopping you from going on planes or to restaurants if you refused your jab.

Sounds like this alleged vaccine will be “mandatory”, after all.

There is then, of course, this bit of a rider.

The Australian Medical Association’s president warns we “have to acknowledge it is a rushed approval process and even if the phase three trials on this Oxford vaccine go really well, it’s still not absolutely proven that it is safe, not as proven as is normally the case”.

Can I really trust Morrison’s vaccine, when even the manufacturer he’s lined up to produce it, AstraZeneca, says it wants a guarantee it won’t be sued if it goes horribly wrong: “This is a unique situation where we as a company simply cannot take the risk if in … four years the vaccine is showing side-effects.”

But you can take the risk, because it is the only way these political nongs can manufacture a process in which they can call off these devastating lockdowns. And of course, when it comes to proven medications, Andrew ends with this:

Just let them inject you with their vaccine, and try to forget these politicians are meanwhile so blind they even refuse to examine cheap drugs which some experts claim could save lives right now — hydroxychloroquine with zinc, or ivermectin with zinc, or almost any other safe ionophore that can get zinc through the lipid surface of the virus.

The reality is we are not dealing with a policy of every life counts, but a political reality where every vote counts. Daniel Andrews is the worst of them, getting all these Brownie points for saving us from a problem he is largely responsible for. And even then, the death rate per head of population in Australia is something like 0.002%.

If the vaccine goes wrong and has bad long term side effects, who can be sued? Since the company producing it has indemnified themselves, suing the governments is like suing yourself

Watch this video and you might have more concerns about a mandatoryy vaccinsation.

Why is it a revelation Steve?
Have you been hiding under a rock the last 30 years or so?

Just watched the video, very frightening, I have heard from a few other sources that the vaccine might cause sterility

Under Victorian law, comments like that are illegal.

Dear FtB – Is that so? Please provide details.

The signs with Scomo were there when he threatened everonevif not enough took up the tracking app.
I decided then and there I wouldn’t. And where’s the app now. Disappeared without tracing.

Went to school with a kid affected by Thalidomide, not a pretty sight with one semi normal arm and the other one like a kangaroo paw. Was allergic to the first SALK vaccine and spent time in hospital with a mild dose of polio, again in hospital after the first ‘flu jabs came out, never had the ‘flu and only the very odd cold in 79 years of life and there must be many thousands of other out there in a like situation so they can go to buggery with compulsory vaccines in any way shape, form or under any duress.

Who are you describing? You support building a literal wall to stop people from being able to go about their business.
You think the state should regulate who gets to live where, who gets to go where, who they get to do business with and so on.
What does someone like you even mean by “the concept of personal freedom?”
You should be loving everything happening in Victoria right now.

Poor old sub-cretinous mentally defective Iamashiteater.

Still incapable of understanding that there’s nothing wrong with individuals jointly owning land through an artificial legal entity and enforcing exclusive possession of that land.
Still unable to understand that for people to gatecrash someone else’s land isn’t to “go about their business” (except in the sense that any criminal in the act of committing a crime is going about their business as a criminal).
Still unable to understand that everyone is, very properly, subject to some degree of regulation about where they can live (e.g. anti-squatting laws) and where they can go (e.g. trespass laws) so absolutist generalised ranting about such regulation is just bloviating.
Still unable to provide any instance where there’s a restriction on who people “get to do business with” that’s supported generally on this site (except e.g. laws against financing terrorists and the like).
Still incapable of understanding that supporting some restrictions in some circumstances needn’t mean supporting all restrictions in all circumstances.

Still mired in the excrement of his inability to think except in cartoon-like binary dogmatic absolutist generalised labels.

Another thing not clear, besides not knowing if there are side effects such as serious allergic reaction or neurological damage or pregnant women should beware, is whether a booster will be needed every two years or so.
Not that that should be a determining factor, but there seems little information forthcoming – just have the jab and don’t ask any questions.

  15. Tim Neilson

A friend of mine who is a world class immunologist (and is the head of a world top 10 university medical school) told me (by email) that he rates the chances of there ever being an effective COVID 19 vaccine at 60%. I haven’t asked him for the odds that whatever’s mandated in the near future will be effective – presumably a good deal less.

  16. Mark M

Just home and watched last 40 mins of parliament, qt.

Greg Hunt and Scomo waffling on about how they are saving the peons and who is gonna make a vaccine which could never be made, and how profitable it would be to Australias economic recovery.

Not once could either of the scumbags say HCQ+zinc could save lives now.
    No money in that HCQ+zinc.

Apoligies to any scumbags offended for being associated with those two killers.

  17. Ozman

ScoMo knows: vaccinations are the way to go.

So did this liberal in the US, until his life was on the line.

‘It saved my life’: Democratic councilman says hydroxychloroquine was key to recovering from COVID.

  18. Shane

Well, that’s one for the record books.
A Bolt questioning the safety of a vaccine, wonder how that managed to get past news.com.au Moderators?
The thing to remember about Alan Hunt is that his electorate has one of the highest incomes per capita.
We all recall how well he as environment minister, supported Abbott’s attempt to not make Australia’s electricity prices go from lowest in the world to the highest through taxpayer-subsidized ‘renewable energy policies.
I don’t suppose anyone will ever be able to work out how much various pharma groups fund all three parts of that mono party that runs this country or to which industrial sector, investors in Mr Hunt’s electorate have now switched their portfolio to.
As a side note back in the 1970s, there was a panicked rush to produce a swine flu vaccine which aside from hundreds of deaths, was associated with a lot of the survivors developed Guillain-Barre syndrome which it turns out their children can now inherit.
Also the first recorded epidemic of chronic fatigue was in the late 1930’s in a hospital in LA where only about a hundred or so the doctors & nurses got but not the patients, Turns out they all had volunteered to trial an experimental polio vaccine.

Have these people never heard of Thalidomide?

The other thing they’ve never heard of is the idea of consent and how it is supposed to be something voluntarily provided to non-owners by owners. Here the entire political class behaves as if it’s the other way around – that whatever we wish to do with our own body or property requires their consent.

We need to direct their attention to this point, e.g. start talking about a consent form for those who wish to receive it, one with a couple of conditions attached:

I hereby agree to receive the above vaccine subject to the following conditions:
Certification that all those responsible for developing it, including politicians who voted to fund it or make it mandatory in certain circumstances:
    (a) have been injected with it and survived without adverse effect for at least 5 years; and
    (b) agree to be liable for the cost of treatment and/or compensation should I suffer any adverse effect from it.

    Let’s see:
    Sweden 86,000 cases ; 5810 deaths; population 10.1m; economy -8.6% apr-jun
    Norway 10,299 cases; 264 deaths; population 5.4m; economy -9.2% apr-jun
Which part of this is suppressed?
The longer this goes on the more I feel like people such as Kates are the quislings of this battle. Urging, whingeing, carrying on – nothing to offer, no better option, just a lot of complaint.

“…because it is the only way these political nongs can manufacture a process in which they can call off these devastating lockdowns”

Yes – but at least as much about having cover for re-opening the national borders, at which point the rhetoric about the severity of the virus will change completely – on the pretense that this vaccine (if it happens) will be far more effective than the annual flu vaccine.

  24. rickw

All Australian Politicians get the vaccine first, then we wait 6 months.

I think if every federal parliamentarian and thier familes all have 4 shots of the new rushed, RNA vaccine ( RNA vaccines effectively do illegal modification of your DNA = illegal human experimentation ) and lets be scientific and observe the results. You would need a 100% no problems result.

You would have to be stupid beyond belief to touch any NWO vaccine they offer up. It is likely it will be rushed, not really tested and just a political power trip.

They can jab it to themselves in both cheeks and where the sun dont shine….

They are panicking – once Ivmectin starts being rolled out, the whole power trip will collapse, as the vaccine control grid will collapse.

Vaccines are primarily a societal compliance tool first, and might maybe have a minor benefit second.

They have their own belief system ( aka religion ) that is not open to question, which make its actually a cult.

    A Vaccine cult……think about that.

    Its all about control, baby……

That’s 0.06% mortality (pp) on a normal rate of 0.9%/year.

To put that in perspective, if you live in Sweden, you’re twenty times more likely to know someone who died of other causes this year than you are to know someone who died of covid.
