  2. cohenite

The drugs are running out; we need another 30 minutes. Joe talking about meth.

  3. Megan

Green Jerbs! Millions of ’em …

Must be part of the 7 billion jobs he claims his administration will create.

  4. Spurgeon Monkfish III

“They wanna take out the cows, too.”

  5. Major Elvis Newton

Biden’s lies are as amazing as Wallace’s inability to call him out on them.

  6. miltonf

Hard to stomach when the “moderator” is acting as a third participant in the “debate”.

    wouldn’t expect anything else

  7. mh

Millions of good paying jobs – from renewables.

    Biden is really saying this.

  8. Makka

Biden wants to stop hurricanes. Fmd. And Tornadoes.

  9. Thaddeus

Storms in the midwest? All due to Donny? tell that to Dorothy

  10. Spurgeon Monkfish III

Fatty Trump wants to drop a nookular weapon on hurricanes …

  11. Megan

Wallace is out of his depth.

  12. Ubique

Moderator is making statements and interrupting the President rather than asking questions. Hardly impartial. Lousy performance.

  13. Major Elvis Newton

Jeezus Biden’s Doomsday Apocalypse world is hilarious.

  14. Joanna

Joe says the Green New Deal is going to stop hurricanes.

  15. herodotus

None of Wallace’s questions have put the heat on Biden, and quite a few have had an anti-Trump leaning.

  16. mh

Trump: He called the military “stupid bastards”.

    Fact check: TRUE

  17. Megan

AOC will be thrilled that the Green New Deal is dead.

  18. Thaddeus

joe is fading fast. wallace propping the old prick up.

  22. herodotus

A few more replacements like Wallace in the Fox News stable and there goes the one really effective alternative to the left/green MSM.

  23. Spurgeon Monkfish III

“Mail in ballots – no malarky!”

  24. Megan

    Vote. Vote. Vote.

    Three times a charm.

  25. mindfree

Wallace also was one of the cheerers for Skanky Ford describing her performance at the Kavanaugh hearings as most credible and really nails BK – Yep a real piece of work

No. The general regard for the MSM in the US is even lower than here.
Cassie, lets agree to disagree but my contacts over there tend to be still swayed by the MSM especially the NBC, CBS networks

  26. Spurgeon Monkfish III

    “Vote early and vote often.”

  27. Sinclair Davidson

Voting process is something the U.S. does very badly.

  28. Major Elvis Newton

    The Trump vs Biden-Wallace debate.

    No winners here.

  29. Megan

Why is the US voting process so ridiculous? It’s not rocket science.

  30. min

Trump has interrupted too often ,.

  31. Oh come on

Gotta say, Biden has been more coherent than I was expecting him to be. There were a few moments when he started looking wobbly but he recovered.

One debate almost over, two more to go!

  32. herodotus

Wallace thinks mail in ballots are fine just days after the Project Veritas people lift the lid on corrupt ballot harvesting.

  33. Catlady

You would think the debate is between Wallace and Trump.

  34. Makka

mUnty’s head just exploded. Trump : Stacked SCOTUS to decide election!

  35. cohenite

    Australian headline:

‘Will you shut up? This is so un-Presidential’
The debate is already descending into chaos with Donald Trump continually speaking over Joe Biden and even the moderator.

Sign as to how the msm will view this: Trump the interruptor.

wallace lies about Trump saying absentee voting is bad. Raises Trump stacking SC to rule in his favour and continually interrupts Trump.

  36. Spurgeon Monkfish III

Wow – sliming Barrett over the legitimacy of mail in ballots.

  37. gafa

Trump is a bit rambly and not completing his points. Tough to watch the whole thing really.
My ears are starting to bleed.

  38. Megan

Wallace is not asking a question. He’s making a demand.

  39. miltonf

The Australian is just another crappy left wing rag. The newspaper that recommended voting for Krudd in 2007.

  40. stackja

Sinc – USA voting process relies on honesty. Dems happy with it.

  41. herodotus

Who are the other “moderators” going to be?
Susan Page of USA Today, an then Steve Scully of CSPAN.

  42. Sinclair Davidson

    Here’s the deal drink again

  43. Major Elvis Newton

Wallace to Trump: Sir, what is your response…

Wallace to Biden: Mr Vice President, what is your response…

Says everything about Wallace’s respect for the Oval Office occupant, integrity and bias.

  44. The BigBlueCat

Why is Chris Wallace prosecuting the DNC case? Surely the moderator should be impartial ….

  45. Farmer Gez

Trump doesn’t listen to Biden’s answers enough and missed opportunities to score relevant points.
    He’s not a great debater.
Biden has to look calm and in control of himself. He managed to do that.
The Dems are a repulsive cabal of extremist and opportunists but they may win.
Trump must do better than this.

  46. Makka

Trump has not done well. He can do much better in the debates.

  47. Megan

    Here’s the deal drink again

I lost count 10 drinks ago.

  48. Carpe Jugulum

Well, that was a friggin shambles

  49. Sinclair Davidson

Draw – Trump interrupted too much.

  50. Zatara

Trump doesn’t listen to Biden’s answers enough and missed opportunities to score relevant points.
    He’s not a great debater.

True. Reagan would have eaten Biden alive.

  51. Spurgeon Monkfish III

The Braindead Lamestream Meeja will now declare this utter sham to be an overwhelming triumph for Geriatric Joe.

    That was absolutely excruciating.

  52. Cactus

    I think Biden won this.
He looked coherent or at least more than I thought he would be.
Wallace injected himself into the process – lots of loaded questions that were anti-Trump, so Trump looked like he was more shifty or evasive.
Biden said nothing, often this was because of being interrupted by Trump way too often.
Too much shouting – it was chaos.
It also is a subtle message to the public – do you want more of this Chaos?

    I’d love to say otherwise.

  53. cohenite

I don’t blame Trump; no human has copped more shit, lies and corruption then him.

  54. Megan

    Shambles is complimentary.

  55. Megan

Not enough in that to change people’s minds.

  56. herodotus

If people base their vote solely on this sort of circus rather than watching what happened over the past four years then they’ll get their comeuppance in the next four years.

  57. Zatara

Trump also looked a bit tired when the curtain went up.

Perhaps running a country and getting out to see the people during a pandemic is more stressful than hanging out in the basement when also running for President.

On the other hand, the Biden score for flat out bullshit memes was very high, and will be recognized.

    Plastic turkey anyone?

  58. Exit Stage Right

Biden is not the Vice President!
Also, how come Sleepy Joe was much more coherent than usual?

  59. Makka

It also is a subtle message to the public – do you want more of this Chaos?

Yes. Agree with that. Trump needs to calm down and out think Biden in his responses. He can but anger gets in the road.

  60. Major Elvis Newton

So which of Biden’s inner circle will catch the ‘Rona and ‘force’ him to self-quarantine and forego the next two debates?

Because it’s all about saving lives.

  61. Major Elvis Newton

Looks like the Dems sundowner dementia strategy paid off.

They can’t do it forever. but in this case it worked.

  62. stevem

Joe was Vice President to Obama and they tend to keep using old titles in the US.
Alzheimer’s tend to come and go in the early years. One day a sufferer will be coherent and the next they’ll be off with the faeries. Hopefully the next debate will be a bad day and people will see what’s happening to him.

  63. Bundyrum

Wallace says no interruptions & then interrupts Trump.

  64. Andreas

Very hard when you’ve only got 2 minutes and you’ve got so much bullshit to correct.

  65. Seza

Coming from an electoral system where voting is compulsory, I didn’t think that postal vote fraud would be a big deal. However, the US is not compulsory and only a percentage vote. The Project Veritas recordings showed how it can be significant. If there are large mail-outs to people that would not normally vote, and they are willing to sell or give the official ballot to a third party who then uses the details of the original addressee to cast the ballot for their candidate.
The other casualty in the Postal Vote fraud is the destruction of votes that are likely to favour your opponent, like votes coming in from military posts. These keep turning up in landfill or gutters somewhere.

  66. Viva

Imo Trump finds it difficult to marshall facts and deploy them in an incisive manner within time constraints. He has great practical intelligence but not very articulate. It was very frustrating to watch.

  67. hzhousewife

Biden had a good day and Trump had a bad one. Awful “debate”. Wallace was partisan. Altogether disappointing and worrying.

  68. Trump got trounced in the 2016 debates and he’s continued in the same vein today. He’s just not a competent debater. All he’s got is bully tactics.

That moment where he told the Proud Boys to “stand down and stand by” was disgraceful. He can’t even bring himself to condemn white supremacist thugs without sending them a supporting message.

  69. Bundyrum

Biden didn’t win, but Trump didn’t hammer anything home either.

  70. Entropy

In the end would Trump be upset that Wallace was clearly partisan? It plays into the narrative.

  71. The Proud Boys have just tweeted:

Standing down and standing by sir.

    So he’s got their vote!

  72. gafa

Takes a lot of practice to be a skilled and polished debater. Trump may be a skilled negotiator but not so much the skilled debater, that’s not a criticism just an observation, nobody’s perfect at everything.

Lot of pressure on Trump, the civilised world needs him to win this election, preferably, a resounding victory.

  73. Zatara

I can’t remember an election where the presidential debate meant less to the public.

If Biden had literally fallen on his face maybe that would have influenced some votes, but a realistic view of the situation in the US right now is that it’s a vote between anarchy and preservation of the nation and short something majorly disruptive those decisions are already made.

On the positive side, indications on the ground are extremely positive towards preservation of the nation

  74. Farmer Gez

At least it was a debate.
The Antifa and BLM protestors don’t want a debate, they want you to bow to their authority and pay the tithe.

It’s an awful shame that these two are the best America can come up with.
Biden’s power base is vile and increasingly authoritarian.
Trump’s ego gets in the way of common sense and perception.

    Depressing really.

  75. Arky

    Great debate.
    Covered a lot of ground.
Trump free wheeling and making sure he gets the message on voter fraud and Biden family corruption in even if it meant steamrolling over Wallace.
    Had to be done.
Remember, many voters will not have heard this stuff covered in mainstream news.
Biden looked like what he is: a shifty, nasty old creep.

  76. stackja

Sinc – too much Biden BS would upset anyone. Trump just being honest.

  77. miltonf

Trump’s ego gets in the way of common sense and perception.

But Trump is prepared to get out and fight for everyman and get treated in the most abominable way. Anyone would need a big ego to survive these attacks.

  78. miltonf

Biden looked like what he is: a shifty, nasty old creep.

Everything that is wrong with modern politics in the west.

  79. Viva

But Trump is prepared to get out and fight for everyman and get treated in the most abominable way. Anyone would need a big ego to survive these attacks.

    It is his essential armour.

  80. dover_beach

    Monty: Proud Boys.

    Ahahahahahaha.

  81. Rob MW

Wallace was the slam dunk winner of this debate. The negative or bullshit preambles to questions to Trump created the shambles. Trump fired up to answer the bullshit preambles then was accused of not answering the question. It’s hard to answer a question when the predicate is bullshit.

Trump did pretty well considering ANTIFA was all over the preambles.

Vote 1 for the moderator. Where in the U.S or anywhere on god’s green earth is it possible to find an unbiased moderator ?

  82. twostix

Trump got trounced in the 2016 debates

    LOL.

You’d think he’d have learned after he lost the 2016 election at the Alamo, right m0nty?

  83. Armadillo

Trump needed to be a lot more “reserved”. He needed to just sit back and let Joe talk, followed by the occasional fact punch to the head.

He went in way too aggressive, and it came across as elder abuse. There are still 2 more debates to come. He should have left the aggression until the final round (if he thought he was losing).

Joe was trying to talk to the American people. That should have been Trumps strategy. If you watch his rally’s, that’s when Trump is most effective. “Off Script” and from the heart.

    The aggression didn’t play well.

    Fatty Trump

Fatty Trump has bullet proof vest….No one’s trying to kill Biden….apparently he is brain dead already….just surviving with a little help from his friends….drugs, electronics, etc.

Agree with Sinc, too much interruption by Trump…..causes the python to get excited and look on the brighter side of a bad deck.

  85. Infidel Tiger King

    Trump out to $2.30.

  86. Oh come on

Not Trump’s best effort. Biden performed above expectations – primarily, he didn’t collapse. And he sounded quite coherent most of the time.

I think Trump missed an opportunity to nail Biden with that quote he attributed to Kellyanne Conway. It was pretty obvious (to me, at least) that Biden didn’t know who had said what he claimed and came up with Conway on the fly. He looked flustered. It should have been oh really, Joe? Is that right? Kellyanne Conway said that? Are you sure, Joe? Because I think you just made that up. Can’t remember who said it? Did they even say that at all or are you lying? Etc

I’d make a can’t remember, doesn’t know, lights are on but no one’s home a constant theme.

  87. Spurgeon Monkfish III

Joe was trying to talk to the American people.

In his own spectacularly incoherent dishonest and idiotic way.

  88. cohenite

Every word the senile old bastard uttered was a lie and Trump was flat out calling him out. Wallace never did.

In such a short time with a barrage of lies and interruptions I don’t think Trump could have done anything else.

    He did.
Unfortunately Trump managed to dilute that by talking all over him.

Undecided, lo-info electors now going WTF? – and the Leader of the Pee World is one zimmerpush closer to the top job.

  91. Spurgeon Monkfish III

Ozman – the “Fatty” sobriquet is an oblique reference to an attempt by the dumbocrats during the 2016 campaign to call into question Trump’s health – all while Shrillary’s handlers were trying desperately (and on some occasions failing spectacularly) to keep her upright.

  92. Oh come on

And another thing. Trump needs to let Biden TALK. I found the interruptions annoying, but apart from that, Biden needs to have the opportunity to talk at length so as to increase his cognitive load. This is when he’s going to say something stupid, lose his train of thought, confuse himself and so forth. Trump interrupting constantly actually gives Biden breathing space to make sure he’s on message.

  93. Zatara

I think Trump missed an opportunity to nail Biden with that quote he attributed to Kellyanne Conway. It was pretty obvious (to me, at least) that Biden didn’t know who had said what he claimed and came up with Conway on the fly.

She said something vaguely similar to that but completely out of context.

She pointed out to the Dems that they might want to do something about the violence because to not do so was to be blamed for accepting it.

    And she was right

Spanish speaking viewers of Telemundo expressed their preference of who won tonight’s presidential debate: 66% Trump 34% Biden.

Couple that with rising black support for Trump and he’s going to be hard to beat.

  95. JC

    Fiery, but mostly peaceful debate.

  96. Makka

Biden came out with a lot of bullshit and false hoods. Trump tried to counter on all of them then load in his own talking points. Too much info to be compressed into limited time and Trump came off as a chaotic thinker. When in fact his mind works very fast.

He should slow it down and hammer Biden on the big issues that matter. Namely, Biden’s pathetic tax eating history (Iran, Benghazi, Uranium One, Ukraine) , Biden’s corrupt family, Joe’s threat to US jobs, Chinese hegemony (Hunter Biden) , businesses returning to US under Trump, Biden will role back tax cuts, Dem city chaos and destruction. If I was a US voter that is where my attention would be lying.

  97. Armadillo

I’d make a can’t remember, doesn’t know, lights are on but no one’s home a constant theme.

Exactly OCO. That should have been the strategy – mockery. Joe was the one lying his arse off. Even a simple invitation by Trump for Americans to have a look at “Project Veritas” would have totally covered the “election fraud” issue.

I honestly think Trumps performance today was well below par. So many “missed opportunities”. He simply wasn’t relaxed enough. He was looking for a brawl and Joe wasnt going to fall into the trap.

  98. Farmer Gez

Wallace overplayed his hand in trying to distance himself from his anchor role at Fox.

Sadly their aren’t any senior US journalists that can do what a Andrew Neil does.
A non-American moderator would even up the field. They should try it.

  99. Professor Fred Lenin

We will see how Biden pulls up after that long punishing brain use ,seems the anti dementiadrugs did their job 9for that short period. The side effects are another story ,he will be exhausted for days ,I do not know the side effects of over use of this medication ,but I imagine they would be deleterious to general health .
Still the old socialist mantra applies ,”whatever it takes for power” .
If joe snuffs it because of drug abuse will he be a Martyr for Globalism ?

  100. Spurgeon Monkfish III

Every word the senile old bastard uttered was a lie

I only caught about the last 35 minutes and there was not a single thing Geriatric Joe uttered in that time that bore any resemblance to reality, even coincidentally.

However, Trump can and must do better next time. Bring on “the learnings”.

  101. Dr Faustus

Potentially Biden’s biggest gaffe was his quavery assertion that ‘I am the Democrat Party, what I say goes’.

Expect to see that one played again over loony-left idiocy.

  102. Oh come on

To me, it’s really counter-productive to prevent Biden from responding in full. Let him speak in paragraphs. That’s the extreme danger zone for him.

  103. Zatara

Wallace overplayed his hand in trying to distance himself from his anchor role at Fox.

Wallace is a leftist cont with zero audience at FOX as well. And everyone knew that going in.

  104. Oh come on

I thought Biden attempting to play the tough man at the start was embarrassing – something like ‘you picked the wrong guy to do this to’. He was just ignored and did nothing to back this up.

  105. Mother Lode

Now that the spectacle of the debate is over we will see the spectacle Trump treats it.

With previous Republican Presidents or Presidential candidates they have gone through the debate and then let the impression remain – or, rather, be re-woven.

Trump is more likely to call out Wallace, rather than put himself unreservedly into the hands of the left wing media.

Trump doesn’t stop fighting when the ending credits roll, and he doesn’t fight the way his opponents want him to.

But he will need a better game in the next debate. (They are going on with them, aren’t they? Or has Biden had them lidded?)

  106. Imo Trump finds it difficult to marshall facts

Probably because he doesn’t know what a “fact” is.
Nothing he says or apparently believes is based on fact.
He talks out of his ample arse almost all the time, and most of what he says is what he thinks people want to hear. Policy, leadership and planning have nothing to do with it.
The fact that these two are competing for political leadership in the USA is a pretty fair indication that the Republic is way beyond its use-by date.

  107. stackja

Trump kept his temper. I would have told the duet to shut up.

  108. candy

I don’t think Trump should call out Wallace but hone in on the lack of clarity of Democrat policies, because it’s like getting blood from a stone with that lot.

The alternative to taking on the moderator is to accept the set up and go through the debate without being able to make your points, because Wallace frames the questions to avoid Trump’s strengths and tries to move it on if he does score.
You ain’t being scored on politeness and style here.
It’s get your points across to an audience which is not familiar with them, while being opposed by tge media and the. candidate.
    “Stop interrupting”.
    “He’s interrupting too”.
    “Not as much as you”.
Listen dickhead, if you allow interruptions then it’s the audiences job to figure who’s doing it and why, not for you to give a running commentary on it.

  122. min

Trump demonstrated his inability to debate ,a skill not required for CEO and with no practice one would get as a politician someone needs to sit down with him and watch his performance . Then ask him questions rather than tell him what to do eg “How do you think that point went, what would have been a better way to handle it? “

  123. dover_beach

    Has Kirstie Alley gone rogue?

  124. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Beare

I haven’t read backthread, but wasn’t Biden consulting notes on the various points – little reminders of what he had to say? He put out the lines he’s been schooled extensively to put out, and not much more. His performance was weak, ineffectual and with cringeworthy fake folksy talking to camera. Yes, Trump interrupted too much and lost the thread of some of his arguments, and lost opportunities to hit back hard at times. He could have said how many black jobs he’s created and black schools he’s supported for instance re the ‘racism’ accusations. No-one won, and I doubt if any minds were changed. Undecideds will still be waiting for the light to turn on. One view is that Trump was calling out his base, his way. Another view is that he has to get the suburbs in, and they need a more Presidential style.

The socialists waiting in the wings are still terrifying.

  125. Infidel Tiger King:

We now know Biden is going to stack the SCOTUS, supports Antifa, defunding the police, the Green New Daal and several other nation breaking measures.

It’s a bit like being in a relationship with someone who desperately wants to trash it, but refuses to do in public what they do in private.
The Democrats are desperate for a civil war, but cannot be seen to be so. So their behaviour becomes more schizophrenic until in an unguarded moment they do the private act in public.
Biden is the weak link here and President Trump needs to give him the opportunity to make the blunder.

  126. cohenite

Watching the highlights on Hannity. I may have to revise my opinion. Trump knifed joe and there are many examples of joe gibberishing, avoiding questions and barely keeping his temper. He told Trump to shut up, called him a clown and the worst POTUS ever and in the closeups had incredibly dilated pupils.

  127. Arnost

First thoughts … A shambles for Trump.

I think that Trump was done… and unfortunately by Chris Wallace. It was a mostly a debate between him and Trump! The amount of time that Wallace interrupted was way over the top! Biden would have had less speaking and point-making time against Trump than Wallace. Especially at the end when Biden was fading!

Trump was thrown off having to deal with the mistruthy gotchas coming from Wallace, got caught out having to challenge these, and obviously angry appeared to lose his talking points and thoughts and ultimately ended up looking as being incoherently shouty and bullying.

Joe Biden is running on a “I’m a good guy” platform and people will only have more sympathy for him. Trump only lost votes here.

If I was Biden – I would not debate again…

  144. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Beare

Trump interrupting constantly actually gives Biden breathing space to make sure he’s on message.

Yes. That, and the reference notes, and the rehearsed lines of Democrat talking points.

No actual Democrat policies brought forward (apart from the Nude Eel creating good jerbs, but it’s not his policy, lol) just the usual Get-Trump mantras. Also, the Great Biden Economic Plan featured a lot. Content of it? Nix, apart from cash handouts. And a Company Tax increase.

As IT did just above, the details of what Biden stands for are all there in that debate, and it should send voters away in droves. However, Trump’s tendency towards aggro did him no favours as an alternative person, even though his policies are proven and were quite well outlined.

Calm down and warm up, Donald. Be less defensive and more relaxed and jokey, you’re good at that.

  145. Arnost

These debate set ups just don’t work in the favour of Republicans. 2 to 1. At least we didn’t have an explicit gotcha like “Candy roll the tape!” [Wouldn’t it have been nice for Trump to go “Chris – roll the tape” when inevitably Biden went to the “good people on both sides”!!]

I need to replay the end of the debate … but I think that Trump was livid. And a livid fighter may be very dangerous. Will he go nuclear and start declassifying? At the end of the debate is sure seemed that way! He brought up some of the stuff that can [should] put people in jail!

He was definitely NEVER suggesting a simplistic injecting of pure disinfectant into anyone, simply encouraging the medicos to find a means of disinfecting Covid from its path in humans. Up to THEM how they chose to do it, he implied.

There’s some sense in that view, Arky. But as you can see by other comments here, it has to be done differently next time and the time after that to remain Presidential as well as informative and correcting. Are there 3 Presidential debates – or is the Vice-Presidential one next week (which should be interesting) included in the three?

Trump has to learn to hold his opinion for the two minutes it takes for Biden to lie and falsify, and then to swiftly demolish him point by point. That is debating technique. As Min has said above, someone should brief him more on that. It’s different to brushing off irritating journalists. The fact that many people have only heard the MSM version of things means he has to educate – with slow and simple words – on how well he has done so far and how many lies have been put out by Democrats and their media.

Joe Biden: No More Coal or Oil Plants in America

Former Vice President Joe Biden said during the presidential debate on Tuesday night that, under his administration, the country will not build any more coal or oil plants in America.

“Nobody’s going to build another coal-fired plant in America. No one’s going to build another oil-fired power plant in America. They’re going to move to renewable energy,” Biden said.

Biden’s promise that the country will not create a new coal or oil plant under his administration would significantly impact America’s coal mining industries.

Dan O’Donnell, a Wisconsin radio host, said that Biden’s plan to avoid building coal and oil plants would “kill” Biden in Pennsylvania.

Trump proved once again he doesn’t have the character, or temperament, to be President.

Ok – Show me on the doll where the orange man hurt you

Trump proved once again he doesn’t have the character, or temperament, to be President.

    Unlike that lovely Mitt Romney.

Grate – ASX seems to have called it for Geriatric Joe.

They don’t have any idea. Most people in Aus believe the fine people hoax. It’s going to be a tight election, now think of a region where an election was won:

    Raising taxes
    weakening immigration laws
    outsourcing decisions to Global bodies
    shutting down industry
    soft of crime

What is the point of ‘the wire’ if it does not lead to something in his ear?

I don’t know what that thing was that Joe was playing with, but without an earpiece he wasn’t getting answers.

Unless it is one of those tiny ones that go in the ear. Was there anything like that?

    CNN Factcheck:

Trump unleashes avalanche of repeat lies at first presidential debate

Election Fraud: [Trump used the debate to spread disinformation about mail-in voting] Trump is lying. There is no widespread fraud in US elections.

Poll Watching: [They were thrown out. They weren’t allowed to watch. ] Trump’s version of what happened is highly misleading. Some pro-Trump poll watchers were turned away from voting sites in Philadelphia. But…

Campaign ‘spying’: [Trump once again accused the Obama administration, including Biden and then-President Barack Obama, of “spying” on his campaign] There is no evidence Biden or Obama had any personal role in the FBI surveillance of Trump campaign advisers

Payments to Hunter Biden: [Trump claimed that Biden’s son Hunter Biden got a $3.5 million payment from the wife of the former mayor of Moscow. ] his needs context. Hunter Biden denies the allegation.

Supreme Court and the Affordable Care Act: [Not sure what the lie is: Biden said Trump’s nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett thought the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional. ]This needs context. It is unclear which of Barrett’s writings Biden was referring to but an essay Barrett wrote before she was appointed to the US 7th Circuit Court of Appeals by Trump in 2017…

Affordable Care / Health Act: [Not sure what the Trump lie supposedly was here]

Coronavirus and Masks: [Trump said that Dr. Anthony Fauci changed his mind about the impact of wearing masks.] his needs context. Fauci, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, did change his mind about masks, but the need to wear one is not an ongoing debate, as Trump implied

Coronavirus and the economy: [“He wants to shut down this country and I want to keep it open,” Trump said.] his is false. Biden said in an August interview with ABC that he would shut down the country if scientists told him it was necessary — but he has not himself advocated a shutdown or introduced a shutdown plan.

Coronavirus travel restrictions: [Trump referenced the travel restrictions his administration imposed on foreign nationals who had been in China] This needs context. It’s not clear Biden even knew about Trump’s China travel restrictions when he called Trump xenophobic on the day the restrictions were unveiled

Manufacturing: [Trump claimed that his administration brought back 700,000 manufacturing jobs.] This is false. It was not even true before the pandemic-driven recession

Politics of violence: [Biden argued that then-White House counselor Kellyanne Conway has said riots and violence helped Trump’s cause. … “I don’t think she said that,” Trump replied.] Trump is wrong. Conway made this statement in late August, though not in these precise words.

GAH!!! you get the context. Not much

    Matt Walsh
    @MattWalshBlog
Trump’s answer to the dumb question about white supremacists was fine. He told Wallace to name a specific white supremacist group and he’d denounce them. Wallace didn’t name a group. Then Trump named a specific left wing terror group to Biden and Biden explicitly defended them.

  222. Makka

And neither gave us a good outline of their actual policies and plans for the next 4 years.

    Felix,
You know that this is rubbish. If you were a US voter, what would you want to see to improve the lot of your family and from which candidate would you expect to see that? Biden’s economic plan is clear; Green energy replacing cheaper fossil fuels, higher taxes, defunding Police, open borders, 2A gone etc. Trump has his record to stand on. In which candidate would you place the welfare of your family?

  223. JC

Trump mentioned Bunter Hiden was kicked out of the military for taking drugs. This is true. Hiden then said he had cleaned up his act.

Bunter then began bonking his dead brother’s former wife and got a stripper pregnant.

  224. calli

I was interested in Biden’s “K” shaped recovery.

He mentioned many…many billionaires doing very well in contrast to ordinary “folks”.

Are the billionaires bankrolling and enabling his campaign a different type of billionaire?

  225. calli

What is the point of ‘the wire’ if it does not lead to something in his ear?

An electrode to the brain to make him say “shoosh” repeatedly?

  226. Arnost

unless it is one of those tiny ones that go in the ear. Was there anything like that?

That was the receiver / re-transmitter to a micro-speaker deeper in the ear canal… [And why they didn’t want to check for earpieces]

  227. Makka

Unless it is one of those tiny ones that go in the ear.

The wire could have been a mic. The earpiece embedded well inside the ear.

Ah ha ha ha. As if.

Who’s this fucking troll; this thread is alive with the bastards; the old shit, the young fat turd and now this arsehole. Anyway it shows the calibre of the vermin who support geriatric joe.

“No kidding, if you think the place is too crass for someone as aristocratic like you, then fuck off and follow the other Bobbsey twin down the rat hole.”

    Well said JC.

  230. cohenite

Kenny has a body language person on; trouble is joe might have a body but there’s nothing attached to it; he’s a programmed shell.

  231. Ok, sportsfans, I’ve just finished watching the Debate.
1.5 sheets to the wind. I’ve no more rolly papers.
    Trump – 6.5. Did well.
    Hiden – Definitely on drugs.
Definitely reading lines somehow. Watch his eyes. They never move.
Made no sense. No plan. No policy anything. Terrible.
But adjusted for Joe – 4.

  232. Watch at the very start of the Debate – Hiden looks up to his left AT something.
Watch his eyes when he’s making kinda sense sentences.
    He’s reading it.

  233. Alright, I’m now on the scroll back.
    Be back in 10
    Peace

  234. Aderall working for Biden so far.

    Haha – ma’nigga!!

Hardly. All the things you mentioned weren’t discussed in the debate. That was my point.

And I certainly wouldn’t place the welfare of my family in Trumps hands. He’s shown no interest in anyone’s welfare outside his own family.

Neither do I want any of Biden’s policies. Hence the terrible choice. Thankfully not one I have to make.

  236. The God Emperor needs to dial it back a bit.
Give Joe time to be Joe.

    Yep, preach.
    Shut up ,Mr President!!
FFS. Joe will do all the work.
    Trump hates lay-ups. Lol
    Go you magnificent bastard!
