Generously proportioned diva makes her way to the stage

UPDATE: No he didn’t:

I suspect the vague and listless Barr will have a bob each way in the media but intends to run down the clock.

US Attorney General William Barr said on Tuesday that the Justice Department has found no evidence of voter fraud significant enough to reverse Democrat Joe Biden’s defeat of President Donald Trump in the 3 November election.

The problem is that significant enough to reverse. Trump said something along the lines of facts being on his side, but time against him. The current situation is like a sporting contest where drug testing has to be completed between the end of the event and the time the winner takes the dias. This is especially true of presidential elections, where fraud has the greatest payoff.

    “Comey” FBI investigated.

  3. jupes

The Trump Legal Team, led by Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis, said in response to Barr’s comments:

With all due respect to the Attorney General, there hasn’t been any semblance of a Department of Justice investigation. We have gathered ample evidence of illegal voting in at least six states, which they have not examined. We have many witnesses swearing under oath they saw crimes being committed in connection with voter fraud. As far as we know, not a single one has been interviewed by the DOJ. The Justice Department also hasn’t audited any voting machines or used their subpoena powers to determine the truth.

Nonetheless, we will continue our pursuit of the truth through the judicial system and state legislatures, and continue toward the Constitution’s mandate and ensuring that every legal vote is counted and every illegal vote is not. Again, with the greatest respect to the Attorney General, his opinion appears to be without any knowledge or investigation of the substantial irregularities and evidence of systemic fraud.

After the interview was published, CNN reported that Barr arrived at the White House:

I hope Trump sacks the useless piece of shit. Put someone like Gowdie in to replace him, then put Sidney Powell in charge of the FBI and Mike Flynn in charge of the CIA.

That would put the cat amongst the pigeons.

Listen to Levin on law suit that are in the Civil court explain what is going on illegally . Anyway Trump has them on the constitution . Too many judges have made changed rules re election in the States that under the constitution can only be changed by the State Legislature .

  12. John of Mel

Barr claimed that the FBI has followed up on specific complaints of voter fraud yet they have uncovered no evidence that would change the outcome.

So, they did find voter fraud. Will there be a deeper investigation? Will people responsible be persecuted?
Or is voter fraud considered by DOJ akin to a child lying when asked “who took the cookie?” – everybody lies at times.
Where is the rule of law???

In “Dog that didnt bark” news I find it slightly curious that the August, shriveled organs of the left (MSM/ABC/Fecesbook etc) arent trumpeting the incredible popularity of papa hair-plugs, after all he smashed all voting records while only running a dozen campaign rallies throughout the campaign.

It appears that there is no longer any function for the campaign rally as a means of generating turnout or votes.
Every campaign has been doing it wrong since the US became a nation state.

The secret to electoral success is to not be visible, to not outline your governing objectives and people will just flock to send in postal votes in numbers undreamed of in the past.

Why isnt this Paradigm smashing feat of electoral genius being dissected and lionized by its proponents?

    Its a mystery.

    “Barr finds no fraud:

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/william-barr-doj-fbi-voter-fraud-2020-election“

FBI head (Wray), CIA chiefette Haspel and the sacked secretary of defence Esper together worked openly to sabotage President Trump and Barr is no different. He was touted as a brilliant legal mind and all the rest of the hyperbole – oh, look! he plays a saxophone or the bagpipes or something, he must be ever so clever. Not once did he act to defend Donald Trump against the spivs who would shoot him down in the street if they could get away with it.

They have no personal or professional integrity, they cannot spell loyalty or honesty or honour. Every last one of them is on the take – that is how the third world capitalist empire operates. Money is all, they treat the dollars like applause.

Those two new Supreme Court judges Barrett and Kavanaugh are, in my view, in it up to their necks just the same – one cannot succeed in government employ in the USA without seeking and accepting the graft en route.

These goons are the same as Xi’s corrupt lieutenants, the only difference is they wear a business suit fashioned from finer fabric.

Donald Trump is a threat to their very existence – he enjoyed more real power and wealth than they will ever experience well before he pursued high office; and he demonstrated clearly that his motive was real change for the common good. Americans need him in the job way more than he needs it.

We need to face the facts. Joe Biden is the single greatest campaigner and vote getter in the history of the Republic. His genius is even more manifest when we note that in 2020 he only campaigned a few hours a week, to rooms filled with 25 media personnel and parking lots with 50 cars. We now know that without his coattails, even Obama would never have been elected, since he outpolled The Wonder One by 15 million votes. No wonder the Democrats owe him big.

Joe’s unique campaign methods and sheer electoral brilliance make his act of losing 50 out of 51 bell weather counties across America but still winning the Presidency a masterstroke. Also for the first time in 60 years the candidate (Biden) with the least number of primary votes ( around 62%) beat an opponent (Trump) with the highest percentage, having won 94% of his party’s primary votes.

Given that Trump will be the first President in 150 years to increase his popular vote (by15%!) and lose re-election is more sign of Biden, the master. Finally, his audacity that approaches Nelson at Trafalgar in .picking Ms. Harris for VP. This will mark the only time the least popular and most disliked and first to drop out of the primaries, amongst all Democrat candidates, boosted her party to the greatest American electoral victory of all time.

Anyone doubting, if there are any by now, Joe Biden’s brilliant and unprecedented skills in politics will note that he under performed Hilary Clinton’s votes in every USA urban county except Philedelphia, Milwaukee, Detroit and Atlanta. And still won a massive victory.

If the Democrats use the unheard of intelligence and political genius of Joe Biden, none of them will ever lose another Presidential election.

Given the hearings in Pennsylvania, Arizona and Michigan would anyone care to comment on the likelihood of these states declaring clean electoral results and ultimately participating in the Electoral College?

    Close to 100% I imagine.

So we keep hearing from more and more marginal sources that the election is just about to be flipped. But it doesn’t actually happen. We keep hearing all about how the machines can be compromised and were used to steal elections in Venezuela. We’re also told the data was stored in Germany and could have been hacked there.

    Okay.

But judges don’t want to hear what could have happened. They want to hear what did happen AND that there is evidence that what did happen was unconstitutional or unlawful.

Right now the case is being made that the US can tighten up its election processes but not that the election was stolen.

(Yes, I agree some of the data looks anomalous. Explaining statistics to a judge isn’t going to do anyone any good.)

  34. Spurgeon Monkfish III

Scott Adams on twatter. It’s a very sound point.

If we can’t audit our nation’s vote-counting software because the company claims it is proprietary information, I’m totally cool with that. But obviously the election has to be thrown out in whole for that very reason. I see no room for compromise on this point.

  35. Maj

Barr’s dad hired Epstein to work with children

I still suspect Epstein was a Russian agent with a job of getting kompromat on high profile British and American political and business figures

Look at how much money the bloke had, sure he must have earned decent coin working for a time on Wall Street, but that sort of money doesn’t buy you the house he had in New York or a private island

And Epstein really arrived on the scene in the mid/late 1990’s just as Russian intelligence was getting its mojo back after the fall of the Soviet Union

So no surprise folks who has been around for so long as the Barrs have would have fallen into Epstein’s trap

    This is the point.

The fraud is obvious, but it’s very hard to prove without a proper chain of custody, a full audit and recanvassing, which is each state’s jurisdiction, not the Feds. SCOTUS can only refer matters back to each state, so don’t rely on them…

Some of the claims made in Sydneys cases is the electoral commissions made changes that were the prerogative of the legislature.
    They might be interesting.

However its also worth pointing out the incredible repercussions of an overturned election (or even invalidating one state) will make the bar for evidence incredibly high.
In effect they are signing off on, at best, a cold civil war.

If the Supremes, and this is a big if, they allow states to certify the “steal” and refuse to become involved by allowing it to pass then they might be hoping any trouble stays “local”.
In effect putting the unity of the US over the democratic process.

The ‘main stream’ (sic) media cannot be relied upon to report anything accurately and honestly. You always have to go back to the primary source document if it is available.

I am yet to have read any media report since the US election which states facts impartially and honestly.

You wouldn’t even know from the Australian media that there is an issue being litigated, now at SCOTUS level, as to whether the mail in voting system used in Pennsylvania was authorised by its constitution.

I don’t know whether President Trump can knock out the States of Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania (or some combination of them) from sending electors to the electoral college so that Biden falls below 270 votes, and the selection then falls to the delegations from the House of Representatives. but that seems to be the battle plan.

  51. C.L.

Jim Hoft is a despicable lunatic. His site is handy for the videos and stuff he rounds up but his BOOM! ‘reportage’ (so redolent of Hannity’s Tick Tock) is nothing more than a money-making exercise. He is surprisingly influential – Sidney Powell and Mike Flynn deal with him directly.

  52. Infidel Tiger King

Most republican, and a significant number of democrat voters now believe it was a fraudulent election. So much for the media blackout.
There is a momentum shift as more and more testify to the fraud and President Trump now has a number of pathways to his second term, and he WILL prevail. The people on the ground know it and so does the media, but they pretend to ignore it.

Explaining statistics to a judge isn’t going to do anyone any good.

At one time I would have thought so, too. But then I observed a NSW Supreme Court judge warn a defence team that he would not put any store by an argument that used computer modelling to determine the cause of a natural catastrophe.

None of the judiciary – State through SCOTUS – wants to be responsible for triggering major US civil unrest on the basis of a probability statistic, or the supposed operation of black box software, or the aggregation of thousands of independent micro-frauds. Generations of flawed elections and four months of BLM/Antifa riots set the precedent.

I suspect that the supreme court might rule that an unscrutinised vote is an invalid vote. That would get the invalid vote count high enough.

If systemic fraud can be shown then none of this is necessary because Biden would be disqualified. Fraud vitiates all.

  77. A Lurker

The Deep State’s overconfidence lost them the 2016 election, so there is no way that they would have allowed Trump to win a second term. I suspect that they were formulating plans for massive electoral fraud 48 hours after losing to Trump, and at the same time employing the Russia,Russia,Russia hoax to keep him on the back foot and putting out spot-fires for the following four years.

That COVID-1984, which so greatly favoured the authoritarian political-Left, appeared at the very beginning of a Presidential election year seems more than coincidence. Which makes me wonder if the Deep State had cooked it up in some US lab, the gave it to China to accidentally release. It might be a conspiracy theory, but given the craziness of this year, it’s not out of the realm of fantasy.

  78. Some points:-
    * AG Bill Barr is a bureaucrat. His job is to protect the institutions, not to have perp walks in front of cameras
    * Appointing Bull Durham as special counsel wasn’t made to protect the Russia Hoax investigation. It was made to stop Trump from declassifying everything (hence destroying the beloved alphabet agencies).
    * Bill Barr IS the swamp.

    * Don’t confuse the private work of Sidney Powell and LL Wood et al with that of the Trump legal team.
    * The Trump tea isn’t pursuing the Dominion/Venezuela angle. Powell and Wood are
    * Remember, Dubya lost every single court case in 2000 until he got to SCOTUS. Then he won everything.
    * The Trump team needs to show unconstitutional shenanigans in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Georgia to SCOTUS. That is their best and probably only path.

I still give Trump a 10% chance of success.

Why is everyone so surprised? They were going to rig the election, they did. The money and power (wasta in Arabic where this is daily fare) involved is gigantic. There is no moral or ethical base to the country anymore as there is no afterlife. Conservatives are so innocent and they are now looking for a fair result! Give me a break.

The plan is to get as much awareness about the fraud in the open at the lower courts so people will understand that extent of the corruption. SCOTUS then invalidates the Election.

If SCOTUS does not invalidate, Biden and Harris, along with others (Barr? Wray? Comey, Brennan, etc) are arrested. Huge civil unrest will have to follow. But who has the guns? Snowflakes? Democrat city dwellers?

If Trump does not remain President, we in Australia are doomed as far as freedom goes. Expect track and trace, forced vaccinations next year over a virus that the CDC states on its website has not been isolated and is unavailable. In other words, the virus does not exist and all the deaths are from standard causes–except the ones brought on by fear and isolation. The deaths that were not associated with chronic comorbidities were from new cases of standard causes but put down to the disease that doesn’t exist.

You might be on to something, Steve.

Wisconsin Supreme Court ordered Governor to respond to Trump lawsuit re: 220,000 illegal ballots that must be thrown out, giving state to Trump…

  91. Grip

Just goes to show the extraordinary power of internet fuelled, politically motivated, conspiracy theory/propaganda to sway the readily gullible.

Life is not a James Bond/Jason Bourne movie, and while children sometimes spin out on a fantasy because it seems more exciting than real life, there comes a time to grow up and look at reality.

    Here’s the actual evidence:

    1. As reported a week or so after the election:

“Election officials in dozens of states representing both political parties said that there was no evidence that fraud or other irregularities played a role in the outcome of the presidential race…”

As it says, that means both Democrat and Republican figures. That is, the ones who understand fully how their individual state systems worked and who take professional pride in seeing the elections are fair and fraud free. Their reward for not lying for their President is death threats and intense harassment from his followers who think Youtube and media figures who make a living from selling conspiracy know better.

    2. This guy:

“Two years ago, President Trump put Christopher Krebs in charge of the new Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Krebs, a lifelong Republican, was confirmed unanimously by the Senate. ”

Been sacked for not lying for his President and now, as with many others, under a continue stream of violent threats – from people allegedly on his own side of politics!

A person with detailed knowledge of systems and steps taken to ensure their fairness. His opinion speaks from a position of expertise and detailed inside knowledge of systems and how they worked: compare that to Sydney Powell, who clearly has been sucked into QAnon sphere of influence. I mean, honestly:

“Powell on Tuesday filed an affidavit from Ron Watkins, the son of 8kun’s owner Jim Watkins, in a Georgia lawsuit alleging that Dominion Voting Systems machines used in the election had been corrupted as part of a sprawling voter-fraud conspiracy. ….

No real evidence was included in Watkins’s affidavit, either. But Watkins, who said in the affidavit that he lives in Japan, nevertheless speculated that — based on his recent reading of the Dominion software’s online user guide — it may be “within the realm of possibility” for a biased poll worker to fraudulently switch votes.”

Mmm. Convincing. It’s in the realm of possibility that Trump knows enough about nuclear physics to give lectures on it because he learnt it all from his MIT uncle, too. But as with voter fraud on a massive scale, this is implausible when there is no evidence other than some Trump bragging about how much he knows.

    3. As reported by Barr today (to paraphrase) – he’s been looking but hasn’t found anything significant enough to change the election outcome – including the international cyber scandal fantasy/conspiracy of Powell. Yes, he specifically mentioned that.

Barr has showed himself to be a true Trump friendly culture warrior throughout his tenure. If he won’t make Trump conspiracy supporting statements, what’s more likely – that he is a member of your fantasy world Deep State after all; or that even someone as Trump friendly as him can see that there is no point in fighting reality?

    4. Incredulity that Biden could attract so many votes is nothing other group participation in your (soon to be former) President’s psychological coping difficulties with public rejection. It is ridiculous to have to point these things out, but try this:

    * Trump’s popularity polling was persistently low throughout his entire presidency. (And by the way, polling in America is difficult – but it’s not, as a collective exercise, a completely invalid gauge of opinion.)
    * He was always a polarising figure – a large Democrat turnout was always likely, and consistent with Democrat success in the mid terms
    * The better success of Republicans “down the ballot” than for Trump personally is readily explained by Trump’s lack of personal popularity – see above. Oh, OK, you’d rather go with “no, it’s a sign of the conspiracy involving our international socialist enemies and hundreds, if not thousands, of their operatives working in vote gathering and counting in multiple US states.” Sure. By which I mean – get a grip.

    4. The courts are not being convinced, regardless of which side of politics appointed the judges.

Just because the media and internet sources you watch are telling you something – remember, the problem here is that you are being convinced by the people further-est from having on-the-ground and detailed expertise of what happened. There is no good reason to base beliefs on their opinion.

Try having sufficient humility to re-join the world of reality. Just a suggestion.

But judges don’t want to hear what could have happened. They want to hear what did happen AND that there is evidence that what did happen was unconstitutional or unlawful.

Right now the case is being made that the US can tighten up its election processes but not that the election was stolen.

Hang on, if there is no signature verification of the mail-in ballots, and the rejection rate drops by 99% from that in a typical election, and checking the signatures in at least 4 contest states would flip them back to Trump and thus the election but election officials refuse to conduct signature verification, doesn’t that suggest a stolen election?

  99. chrism

the real game imho is how the Supreme Court views the legal niceties of a claim that the electoral process in states was fundamentally not determined in accordance with those state’s legislatures requirements – those aspects are highly technical and probably have not been correctly observed and there are sufficient grounds for SC to adversely review what happened ; the second limb is the theatrics of the show – is there sufficient shock and awe for the SC – ie all the ballot dumps, dead voters, dodgy goings on, not precisely determined but determined at a ‘feel’ level for the SC to weigh in : I think there is increasing noise an probably sufficient for the supremes to say -‘ insufficient observance of the formal requirements in PA, GA, WI, AZ and MI exist for there to be a withdrawal of certification in those states & for those legislatures to inform themselves so as to make an appropriate choice for this ballot and further consider what steps may be required to ensure future ballots are managed in a legal and transparent manner’ :

It’s actually the mathematics that confirms the fraud of the Biden win.
At 10pm EST in the US, it was mathematically impossible for Biden to win.

Trump also won all bellweather counties which means that every past electoral reporting or predicting convention has been proven wrong in this instance. This is fraud, pure and simple.

There will be another election in a few years but the talking heads’ predictions will be meaningless. The results will be illegitimate and disregarded by the people. Either they right this wrong now or it’s over. But seeing as the Supreme Court is part of the swamp the fix is in.

There were 14 counties in 2016 which had been bellwether counties in the previous 40+ years which voted for Hillary.

There were 16 counties in 2020 which had been bellwether counties in the previous 40+ years which voted for Trump.

There is now only one county which has been a bellwether in the last 40 years: Clallam County in Washington state.

The obvious conclusion to draw from that is not fraud, but that demographics of the electorate are changing which means the median swing voter is less white and less rural than it used to be.

This is a Third World quality of an electoral ‘stuff you’ to the huge mass of real voters for Trump.

Indeed, Rex. In the days when universities were places of scholarship and learning I have marked many a student essay informed by this sort of astroturfing on whatever the topic is at hand, getting by on the proverbial wing and a prayer. Unresearched claims and non-evidenced belief systems abound in this sort of sloppy groupthink. Get the right ‘line’ and you’re in, that’s their approach. Don’t let independent thought and applied rationality come into it. In the case of this election, a clear-sighted judgement can be made that there is a range of mounting evidence for fraud on a significant scale. It simply backs up the rational person’s recognition of a serious misfit between the candidate and his results. Also a serious misfit between the growing stature of President Trump, despite the best of propaganda efforts to pull him down, and a very sudden and inexplicable turn in his electoral fortunes at the eleventh hour.

Nope. Not convinced that this was all fair and square. Never will be.

No idea about foreign policy, economic wealth creation, employment being grasped back for the country rust-belts and away from international playing fields tilted left always, more blacks and Latinos in jobs than ever before, and a Democrat governor screaming for a hospital ship and PPE (which he received very quickly) but murdering by neglect of aged care the parents of his voters. And for this he gets a medal?? Well done, never Trumper.

There are plenty of excellent achievements made by Donald Trump, including when he could, if not thwarted by Democrat Governors, making sensible arrangements re Covid in spite of much fake news reporting of his idiosyncratic ways of explaining new treatments. In Australia – Biden was more than twice as popular as preferred President:

Over the last year, support for President Trump’s re-election increased from 20 per cent to 23 per cent among Australians. However, the increase is even greater for the Democratic candidate, with 49 per cent of respondents saying they preferred Democratic candidate Joe Biden elected president, up from 41 per cent a year ago. Some of this change may be the result of the Democratic candidate being named in this survey, with the 2019 poll asking respondents to choose between Donald Trump and a hypothetical unnamed Democrat.

    Stand proud, you 23 percent-ers.

Remember when Shorten was going to win the last election? The quiet Australians said no.
A lot of quiet Australians also see much to support in the way Trump supports workers and resists the insanity of recent attempts to destroy the Western traditions of the Enlightenment and its culture. Good to see that you recognise two genders and not a multitude of wishful thinking. Perhaps there is hope yet for you to one day accommodate other scientific revelations, such as the varied results for epidemiological and atmospheric modelling of both Covid and Climate Change depending on which modelling is used; demonstrating perhaps the limits of modelling complexity when making important decisions politically and economically.

Trump is not a perfect human being; only one of those is claimed, as far as I understand it. Quite simply, Trump was doing a lot in a hurry, at the same time as fighting fake Russian hoaxes and impeachment, and a lot of rather obstructive people got in his way; he dealt with that, and made no friends in doing so. They wrote and are writing their books. So what? That’s the hurly burly of politics whereas history tends to analyse more deeply and beyond that. You denigrate, along with the crowd, a good President who will I think be recalled as a great one, albeit thwarted of his second term.
