No wonder this site has fans of Putin and Russia – you’re about as interested in democracy as he is.

Locked wooden ballot boxes V zip tied cardboard boxes.

    Locked steel ballot boxes.

And welded properly, not the Midnight Michigan Special.

Totally agree, was just highlighting the way it was, versus the way it is.

Should be steel, gps tracked, end to end custody chain for each box. My guess is that this would introduce a lot of “difficulties” for certain groups.

AEC is undoubtedly under deep state control. Already use Dominion machines for counting which virtually every non deep state jurisdiction have deemed unacceptable due to the obvious security issues.

Seven News running dead on the fraud story, instead cutting to blonde bimbette in Washington opining about Biden and Covid and what he’s going to do about it.

Apparently 100 days of masks will fix it according to the Old Pretender. Taken seriously by the lapdogs. Good luck with that.

Meanwhile, the non-story attracts many…many words here, for and against. And the internet is alive with traffic on the subject. It’s amazing.

Yeah, we do; all of the trolls.

Maths error there – 5 x .15% is .75%, not .65%. Makes no difference to the argument.

Correct; your argument is shit. This is bullshit:

even if a signature audit of absentee ballots identified some mismatched signatures that had been missed during the original process, nothing could be done to rectify those votes. Absentee ballots are separated from their envelopes during the tabulation process in order to protect secrecy and prevent votes from being traced back to the individuals who cast them, so it would not be possible to determine which candidates absentee ballots submitted in envelopes bearing mismatched signatures were cast for and negate those votes.

All aspects of the ballots must be retained. This separation bullshit has been dribbled out before. The ballot must remain coherent. In any event the signatures can be cross referenced. If enough of them, as has been claimed, cannot meet the standard then Trump gets the state.

    More bullshit:

In the 2018 general election, 454 out of 284,393 absentee by mail ballots were rejected for missing or non-matching signatures with a rejection rate of 0.15% (here).

In 2020, 2,011 out of 1,322,529 absentee by mail ballots were rejected for missing or non-matching signatures with a rejection rate of 0.15%. Both 2018 and 2020 has the same rejection rate of 0.15% for signature issues, the Georgia Secretary of State said.

The rejection rate comparison between 2016 and 2020 is:

    •Georgia: 6.5% rejections in 2016 to a mere 0.2%, more than 30 times lower.
    •Pennsylvania: 1% in 2016 to 0.03% this year.
    •Nevada: 1.6% in 2016 to around 0.75% this year.
    •Michigan: 0.5% in 2016 to 0.1% this year.
    •North Carolina: 2.7% in 2016 to 0.8% this year.

Did I say your comment was bullshit. Now fuck off.

This 1:05 min vid is too good to leave on the other page, IMO.

    And from elsewhere:

The rejection rates for absentee votes in 2018 and 2020 were almost a factor of ten lower than all previous rejection rates.

    Undoubtedly you already know this.

nothing could be done to rectify those votes.

Oh noes!! If only there was some way to rectify a fraudulent anonymous election in such Manner as the Legislature may direct.
You may wish disenfranchisement was not an option under the law of this Republic, but it is, and it looks increasingly like it will be used as the totally legitimate remedy for a popular poll that failed to be both free and fair. Everyone was fine with how this system worked until the Dems tried cheating on a massive scale this year. The election fraud does not mean you should cut out inconvenient bits of the Constitution, as that incentivizes more cheating, it means you should nullify a rigged popular vote and use the people who were last elected by a presumably fair election, the legislature, to decide the POTUS electors this year. So it’s not actually disenfranchisement in the sense that a fair popular vote (in 2016 and 2018) has already decided who will be at the bargaining table in picking the EC votes in 2020.
Voting for POTUS has never been direct, and this year it might be a little bit less direct than normal.

Been saying that for a fortnight; all this gibber about the level of fraud not being sufficient to overturn joe’s winning margin (it sounds funny when you write that) is irrelevant. All that is necessary is evidence that the electoral process was contaminated such as in 5 states, stopping counting, ejecting scrutineers, and then continuing counting; or just preventing scrutineers from observing. Each of those is sufficient to take the electoral count away and send the determination to the state legislature.

What is defeating Trump is GoP legislatures in the relevant states not taking this up. The demorats have not cheated this election from Trump the GoP have.

Your source seems to be Newsmax, citing some Congressional Report and some University of Florida dude.

My figures for the rejection rate based on signatures are on the official website of the Georgia Secretary of State (Raffensperger, a Republican).

A possible explanation is that voters do have a chance to “cure” mail in votes and the ability to do that may have increased – but it’s hardly worth trying to work out whether Newsmax is accurate.

For the record, I think there is a problem because one candidate had massive and visible support at rallies, the other candidate had rallies with turnouts lower than an auction for a hovel in a rough neighbourhood, and then that candidate proceeds to “win” with a vote that beat Obama’s.

This “win” of course materialised in a few short hours after all commentators, including the likes of Graham Richardson, had called the election for the former candidate and then went to bed only to wake up the next morning to find the result had reversed in multiple critical states.

Our elections are controlled by public servants of the Australian Electoral Commission who are unlikely to be politically biased.
And our electronic voting machines are far superior to anything they have in the USA.

Er, no. Yes, a public servant (on a temporary contract) is counting votes – by hand – but a scrutineer appointed by the opposing candidate is looking over his shoulder as he performs that count. There are no voting machines involved (except maybe to handle marking voters names off the roll, never for counting votes).

If scrutineers were blocked in Australia in the same way they were in the US election, the court of disputed returns would be declaring the election void under section 362 of the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918. A new election would be called for the relevant electorate.

Australia is nowhere near as crappy as the US is on this point.

    That’s your argument? Bwahaha.

Rallies were a poor proxy for popularity this year – because Biden was discouraging his supporters from attending. Something about a pandemic.

Biden’s popularity this election was buttressed by Trumps unpopularity. Lots of republicans voted Biden, just to get rid of Trump.

No commentators had called the election on election night.

Everyone predicted a red and blue mirage in different states on election night – because of different rules about when mail in ballots could be counted. That’s exactly what we got.

That Biden won despite minimal campaigning compared to Trump is only surprising if you ignore the following:

    a. Trump never polled highly in the popularity stakes during his entire Presidency.

(Look at Gallup – he never cracked 50% approval; his average was 41% and approval was nearly always far outweighed by disapproval. I hate to break it to you, but he was objectively an unpopular President during the whole of his term – and the only President lower in November of the 4th year was Carter.)

    b. Polling consistently showed Biden in a strong position to win. Sure, it was not as accurate as it could be, but it’s hardly a complete failure when it consistently shows a win for Biden and he wins. (By a 4.5% lead in the popular vote, too.)

    c. The better educated vote for Biden, and also take COVID 19 seriously. They would obviously see it as a positive that their candidate did not want to jeopardise the health of his supporters by trying to get them to rally in the normal manner.

    d. A large slab of Trump supporters live in a fantasy world of conspiracy belief and propaganda that means they have difficulty processing the above information.

Actually, we have a lot to worry about in that regard.

The AEC is deadset on introducing electronic voting as the norm, and it has already been used in the ACT. Boom! goes the audit trail, the paper records, the scrutineers, all that good stuff.

They have talked about how we could all just vote from home on our computers as their ideal. Just imagine the opportunities for bad actors in that scenario. Given that the AEC is notoriously a dumping ground for public servants who are so thick even the AFP won’t hire them, and their ability to screw up simple paper ballot procedures (see WA), just imagine how they will cock up electronic voting.

Our beloved politicians, meanwhile, are sleepwalking into this disaster with eyes wide shut – assuming that their intentions are to preserve the integrity of the electoral system. I’m not hearing anything from ‘journalists’ or commenters in the media either.

At this rate, we’ll just wake up one morning and find that our electoral system is in the hands of some Chicom controlled IT company.

If you want the best straw poll on the planet, then head over to Google Trends. It’s Correctly predicted every presidential election since its inception. Except this one.

In this one, Trump V Biden comparative trend was registering off the scale in favour for Trump. No one was searching for Biden in any state. When you look at the keywords surrounding those searches to gain context, then it was indicating a landslide. We’re talking millions of searches per day. Sometimes 10:1 difference in some states. I was thinking he would win in the order of 48-50 states based on that data. The sample sizes were huge.

Something is very wrong with this outcome.

This argument sounded dumb when the bin chicken touted it around a couple of days ago. It has not improved with age.

It essentially says that Trump was so popular that he got the highest vote ever recorded for an incumbent Republican president ever, and significantly exceeded Obama’s 2008 vote total. At the same time, he was so unpopular with Republican voters, who had just voted for him in record numbers, that many millions of them voted for Biden to get rid of him.

…If scrutineers were blocked in Australia in the same way they were in the US election, the court of disputed returns would be declaring the election void under section 362 of the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918. A new election would be called for the relevant electorate.

The above is some dumb shit. Trump increased his vote by 11M in comparison to 2016. And the polling on a state by state basis was just awful and that is the only polling that matters.

Republicans tender new CCTV footage to Georgia Senate Judiciary Subcommittee

An attorney has tendered CCTV evidence to a Georgia Senate Judiciary Subcommittee which she claims shows poll workers waiting for observers and media to leave before accessing ballot-stuffed suitcases from under a table.

Goes for about 30 mins. The videos were not related to the election but part of the Arena’s normal security. Show 4 views of a large room where counting goes on. Shows Republican observers leaving after being told counting stopped around 10pm. After they and others leave the footage then shows 4-6 people continue counting for a few more hours. 4 suitcases are taken out from under a table and each suitcase could hold 6,000 votes. The lawyer explaining said they had not been able to view the 14 hours of footage in real time but will do so.

The Senators pointed out first time the footage had been aired. Naturally a Democrat said the allegations had been debunked. A Republican kindly pointed out the footage was new.

Stumbled across this site a couple of weeks ago and been scanning the US election threads here with steadily mounting incredulity and hilarity.

Amazed y’all amazed by Trump not winning. He lost the popular vote in 2016, had the most consistently low approval ratings of any POTUS, made no attempt to broaden his base, totally mishandled a major national heath emergency and all the polls said he’d lose.

    Which he did.

At this point we have two options.

A: A majority of the electorate, regardless of how they voted down ballot, just couldn’t stomach any more of Trump.

B: Tens of thousands of election officials, multiple GOP Govs and StateSecs, Trump-appointed judges, a Trump-appointed AG, all the MSM media including Fox, the DoJ, Pentagon, NSA, FBI and CIA and every fucking Fortune 500 company are all involved in a massive conspiracy, so massive they’ve covered everything up! Except their involvement.

Opinion linked by Barnes about the emergency request to SCOTUS for Pennsylvania :

By slow-walking the response, Justice Alito effectively denied the application. Election Law professor Rick Hasen explained, “By setting the deadline for a response as December 9, this means that the Supreme Court won’t act until well after the safe harbor deadline has closed, making it even less likely that the Supreme Court would overturn the results in Pennsylvania.”

Yeah it won’t overturn the vote. But it’s not effectively denying it, because it is still under consideration, right? So it is an unresolved dispute with the election result. The State can appoint electors in any way at any time, they don’t need to wait for this kind of delay or dispute to occur, but the same evidence that gave rise to the SCOTUS request might also give them an enough reasons to appoint their own EC electors?

    Dot,
are you saying above that this is still compatible with the strategy of triggering a contingent election by the legislature. The SCOTUS won’t be ordering them to ignore the election (maybe they have no power to do that??).

All Trump has to do is deny by delay, 270 votes for Biden in the EC and then he wins by default through a contingent election.

It’s 270 to win, so you probably meant 270 for Trump, or “less than 270 for Biden” ?

Combined with the recent PA news:

Letter from over 76 members of the PA legislature asking Congress to reject PA’s electors. The focus is on multiple violations of Article II, Sec. 1, Cl. 2 by the Democrat Governor and Democrat Secretary of State.

Having to agree with mh above (or rather Ellis) that they “have given up on the courts and we are now relying on state legislatures to intervene.”

    comments on twitter:

    • The #Wisconsin Supreme Court has ordered @GovEvers to respond to President @realDonaldTrump lawsuit filed this morning, claiming abuse of absentee voting and illegal activity that affected roughly 220,000 ballots.
    • Biden is only up by 20,000 votes. #Wisconsin doesn’t allow mail in voting without written request from the voter.

After the GA bombshell video yesterday and the huge WI invalid ballot count filed today, we can probably start mentally moving Georgia and Wisconsin’s EC votes over to Trump. Then he’d still need to flip or nullify Biden’s steal in one more EC10+ state.
If he flips Nevada, that’s not enough, Biden still gets away with it.
If he flips Arizona they will be at 269 each, dead heat, onto the contingent election and 4 more years.
Flipping any of the other two contested states puts him over 270 and outright #winning.

So much hope! Who was saying at the start of this thread there was “No new hope”?? What a sad sack they must be.

Legal insurrection has a slightly different view on the Alito extended timeline… and that is that rather than simply granting an injunction they may want to proceed directly to ruling on the merits- and that they are using the time to prevent any delay on the basis that not enough time was provided for a response. The Supremes may also use that time to prepare their own opinions.

We must remember that Alito, Clarence, Gorsuch (who together wrote a strong opinion on it being ruled unconstitutional) plus Kavanaugh voted to overturn the PA SC ruling before the election… and it was only that Roberts said there wasn’t enough time to fully deliberate that he voted with the three Liberals 4-4, ACB being recused, to essentially pass on making a ruling.

12 Dec is still before the 14 Dec time for the electors being formally submitted to Congress. This gives the Supremes time to rule on that before / or extend the time if they need to deliberate further.

A Nevada state court just shot down Trump’s effort to overturn the election he lost there. The plaintiffs “failed to meet their burden to provide credible and relevant evidence to substantiate any” of their claims.

Federal law (3 U.S. Code § 5) frees a state from further challenge if it settles legal disputes and certifies its results at least six days before the Electoral College meeting, the SHD, which occurs this year on Dec. 14. If true, there’s a simple financial reason that it will be difficult to prove. The manufacturer would rather quietly begin making a new secure model than recall/replace all the vulnerable cars already sold. So they will be unable to officially explain the accident either. White hats still have a chance but the effect has to be reproduced under realistic conditions, Mythbusters style.

I guess secretive modification of the vehicle while it was unattended is another option, but it has to be done in a way that leaves no trace after the accident is over. A software change is again the easiest. Maybe the car’s controller has enough room in its memory for 2 copies of its own program. So it can use the glitchy version to disable the brakes and floor the accelerator, wat for the g-sensors to detect collision, and then as its last dying act it copies over itself with the original version (or switches to using the good version and erases the hack). Easy to imagine. That does not mean any of this happened.

That “fact check” is going to get some people into deep strife.

This is what was provided to news outlets late on election night, 3 November

A pipe burst in State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Tuesday morning, causing a four-hour delay in processing election ballots, according to deputy Secretary of State Jordan Fuchs.

The burst “had no impact on ballots — not a single ballot was damaged,” Fuchs said.

State Farm Arena, the home court of the NBA’s Hawks, is the largest ballot processing center in Fulton County, according to Fuchs. Fulton County is Georgia’s most populous county.

Fulton County officials said repairs were made within two hours and that no ballots or equipment were impacted.

As for the timing of counting ballots, county officials said, “there was a brief delay in tabulating absentee ballots while the repairs were being conducted.”

“Tonight Fulton County will report results for approximately 86,000 absentee ballots, as well as Election Day and Early Voting results,” county officials said.

“As planned, Fulton County will continue to tabulate the remainder of absentee ballots over the next two days,” the officials continued. “Fulton County did not anticipate having all absentee ballots processed on Election Day.”

Later in the night, Regina Waller, the Fulton County public affairs manager for elections, told ABC News that the election department sent the State Farm Arena absentee ballot counters home at 10:30 p.m. despite earlier intentions to complete processing Tuesday night. Some additional numbers could still come out Tuesday night, but as of now the staff will be back at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Sure, you could be right, Old School Conservative.
To my thinking though, the military option is the main plan.
They knew election fraud was going to be huge and used it to expose the whole swamp.
They have let it play through to the end to reduce the shock to the people when the hammer is dropped. This is the only way to truly clean the swamp.
If they didn’t show how far and wide the swamp really was, people would be reluctant to accept his move. This way there is no doubt it needs to be done.

Remember, in Trump’s eyes, the swamp is not just in America or American institutions, he’s going after the globalists, the UN swamp, the Davos creeps, the fed, the whole enchilada. It’s the only way to save his country and restore power back to the people.
