At least all those nutters saying Trump would never lose office due to some combination of voodoo, madness and gun-toting crazies can bugger off for a while and give us some peace…like brawling amongst ourselves

  7. miltonf says:

Yes it is the USA’s day of shame. They should get depends to sponsor the installation.

    Swampy Joe or Max Headroom?

1.24: “You know, people can be really nasty.
Only the other day I heard someone say, “He’s nothing but a robot, covered in make up.
    Talks a lot of nonsense.
What a way to talk about the president of America.”

  10. You Lot says:

No unrest or nor any attempt of it. The pretext was simply to avoid the dismal crowd the highest vote winner of all times attracts. As through the campaign and now, only those paid to be there. Remarkable really.

  11. miltonf says:

It’s been a sickening but instructive to watch to steel taking place, the refusal of courts to enforce the law and now the soviet style sham installation of FICUS.

  12. 1735099 says:

    At least all those nutters…..

    If only.
They resemble the born agains who keep forecasting the apocalypse.

    Yes.

  18. Herodotus says:

With Lady Gaga doing the Star Spangled Banner and Jennifer Lopez doing Woodie Guthrie’s This Land Is Your Land, it was a sort of jazz funeral for the republic.

  19. miltonf says:

Yes it is sinister. I’d also like to know more about the two ‘elections’ of the dauphin in Canada. The Tides foundation was heavily involved but in what ways I don’t know.

  20. miltonf says:

Lady Gaga also made me think of a civilization trying to kill itself. Very appropriate choice.

  21. miltonf says:

I think another lesson of the last few years is the immense danger of extreme wealth in the hands of private individuals.

  22. Iain Russell says:

Even by Their ABC’s normal standards of fluffer luvviness, today’s edition of Breakfast was utterly nauseating! Will someone, anyone, in Mighty Mo’s government help us heal by ripping this canker on Australia to pieces, sow the grounds on which it stood with salt and condemn its wretched BoBo caricatures to lives of misery and destitution?!? Fo all of us!

  23. Iain Russell says:

Biden’s declaration of jihad on ‘white supremacy and domestic terrorism’ (aka the inauguration) being the screech du jour, of course

  24. feelthebern says:

    Lady Gaga can sing !
Plus twitter also tells me she is the first person to appear at in the Soprano’s to sing the national anthem at an inauguration :).

  25. B.A.Lert says:

Barry is back. America re-harnessed to the internationalist socialist wagon. Yaa mule.

  26. calli says:

True to my word, I have been busy cleaning house for my weekend guests.

The TV has remained resolutely OFF. There is no entertainment value for me watching the newsmouths and assorted sycophants drool over The Drooler. This will continue for many…many weeks, indeed months.

And there is already an ugly, racist and bigoted BDS going around. I don’t want to catch the other sort.

  27. miltonf says:

Barry O’bumma never went away- his shadow whitehouse was not far from the real whitehouse.

  28. miltonf says:

Haven’t watched TV for years except in public places where it’s forced on me.

  29. Buccaneer says:

Watching Kim Joe Ill walk down the street with only military and media, they are saying it’s historic. Not for the reasons they think. We are seeing the rise of the first authoritarian regime in 5he USA.

Wonder where tge paedo plaigerised his inauguration sleech from ? Adolf perhaps .? he was a fellow socialist opportunist .

  31. Knuckle Dragger says:

That’s a polite amount of time for the Dem hamsters on the wheel to wait before a terrible tragedy occurs, resulting in the casting couch specialist Harris becoming the latest figurehead.

  33. Bronco Bummer never aimed to do much else than to damage America. I doubt he ever expected to do this much damage.
But the Race War he set in motion will eventuate.
It’s no country for whities. The issue is that they were the major wealth creators.
Partitioning the US is the only way around this disaster in the short term. However this will give foreign actors the opportunity to come to the aid of the Marxists and we just may see these foreign powers ‘invited in’ to help secure ‘Democracy’ in the breakaway portion.
“Peoples Republic” by Kurt Schlicter is starting to look like history written before it’s time.

  34. Mick Gold Coast QLD says:

    From calli at 7:33 am:

    “…

And there is already an ugly, racist and bigoted BDS going around. I don’t want to catch the other sort.”

I’m not fluent in the modern, fashionable truncated dialect. The best I could come up with is:

“The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement is a Palestinian-led movement”

Presumably it does not mean “Biden Derangement Syndrome” – impossible, they’ve all been smothering the dribbler in kisses ever since he was shaken and injected into coherence a few months ago.

  35. calli says:

    On the money, Mick.

Biden Derangement Syndrome will be pretty isolated amongst his political opposition. We have other fish to fry, like getting on with life.

The Derangement might take another form though. As TDS withers on the vine, there will be a vacuum. It will be filled two ways – adulation and idolising the new incumbent and unbridled hatred towards MAGA types.

  36. Captain Katzenjammer says:

Has Obama chosen Kamala’s vice president yet? Or is it Clinton’s turn again.

  37. Snoopy says:

The Washington DC police and the FBI have been investigating the death of Capitol police officer and Trump supporter Brian Sicknick for 14 days.

    Mmmm.

  38. stackja says:

Joe Biden Sworn in as The 46th President Of the United States in Low-kEy EveNt

  39. Leigh Lowe says:

    Deplorable.

  40. miltonf says:

there will be a vacuum. It will be filled two ways – adulation and idolising the new incumbent and unbridled hatred towards MAGA types.

Very true- people with empty lives need some outlet for their emotions.

  41. calli says:

Do we know who shot Ashli yet, or is that still a secret?

  42. min says:

Propaganda galore describing the inauguration from all local msm . The riots began at Trump’s inauguration not incited by him but the opposition who stirred up hate and division from the moment he stood for president . But of course blame him ,and Biden whilst delivering more propaganda via teleprompter , supports Cancel culture , shutting up Trump voters , ignoring Antifa because it as an ideology. Choosing people on diversity not merit a disaster in the making .
So what are the msm now going to report with Trump gone? Will they start looking at the real problem Marxist /socialist ideology that has never considered consequences of their actions. ? They could start by proving Pareto wrong ha ha .

  43. dover_beach says:

No one turned up to his inauguration but 80M+ votes for him? Sure.

  44. calli says:

    adulation and idolising

And that was a huge weakness in the Trump camp. Possibly because it had to be repressed in day to day life because cancellation and blowback, it only found expression in the rallies. For some, wearing a MAGA hat was a death sentence.

  45. Rex Anger says:

At least all those nutters saying Trump would never lose office due to some combination of voodoo, madness and gun-toting crazies can bugger off for a while and give us some peace…like brawling amongst ourselves

You cannot lose something that has been taken from you by force, Spitter…

  46. Anonandon says:

Inauguration outfits had a strong Hunger Games overtone.

  47. Snoopy says:

“Two group trials ended in defeats for the US attorney’s office, which was hindered by the fact that most protesters wore similar black clothing and covered their faces.”

And the protest was spontaneous. Incredible.

  48. calli says:

So what are the msm now going to report with Trump gone?

    Pockets of die hard supporters.

  49. Leigh Lowe says:

    Was the oratory soaring?
    Or was it crawling?

  50. Snoopy says:

Do we know who shot Ashli yet, or is that still a secret?

Very secret. You would think the cops who were standing behind Ashli might like to know.

  51. miltonf says:

So are there any actual real people there or it is just the military, the meja and the puppet regime?

  52. Leigh Lowe says:

So what are the msm now going to report with Trump gone?

“The ongoing damage that Joe is working tirelessly to repair.”

  53. Mark M says:

There shouldn’t be any climate issues, remember, Obama solved them all when he was elected.
Or would it be just another Obama failure?

    The very definition of insanity.

  54. Cassie of Sydney says:

““The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement is a Palestinian-led movement””

It’s a racist movement too..no doubt supported by our very own resident racist.

  55. calli says:

Snoopy, considering the top cartoon, did they really kill a girl to achieve that?

How many more unarmed citizens were they prepared to shoot? A bridge too far for most Capitol guards, judging by their conversations and interactions with the “insurgents”.

  58. mh says:

    It was quite moving.
    But not sad.

  59. mh says:

Trump left office with the DJIA at 31,188.

But the MSM narrative is Orange Man Bad left the US economy totally destroyed.

  60. cuckoo says:

Biden Derangement Syndrome will be pretty isolated amongst his political opposition.

The worst case of TDS known to me personally has almost overnight stopped talking about Trump. For the preceding four years he literally began every ‘conversation’ with a recitation of that day’s bogus media outrage talking point about Trump. I sat through a lunch with him a few days ago and he didn’t mention Trump or US politics once.

  61. Up The Workers! says:

If, as is speculated, China does decide to wage war on the U.S.A. and Australia, it does not bode well that the Chi-Coms have already installed their own bought-and-paid-for dementia-riddled dribbling imbecile as Commander-in-Chief of the Yanks.

Maybe we should send Adam Bandt or Sarah Halfwit-Bung or AnAl the Brothel-Hopper over to Beijing to negotiate a surrender on our behalf?

  62. Daily llama says:

C’mon Rex boy, you know the fraud is bull. Trump has known it all along, or he wouldn’t have chucked it in. Would you have those idiots on you side if you were going to mount a serious legal challenge? It was farce, and never going anywhere

  63. cuckoo says:

Six months. That’s a polite amount of time for the Dem hamsters on the wheel to wait before a terrible tragedy occurs

I tend to agree with those who are thinking two years.

The media buried Joe’s daily gaffes and brainfades during the campaign, but sooner or later he’ll make one during some public event that we’re all meant to be watching (SOTU, etc.). And God forbid another black man gets killed by a white policeman, but if it happens on Joe’s watch I’ll be waiting for the serenity to break out.

  64. Ozman says:

The 25,000 troops (usually around 5000 for crowds of 250k to 1m) at the inauguration were being interpreted to mean either arrests were going to take place and a military takeover was on the cards, or expect to see totalitarian oppression coming soon.

Even though the 2021 agenda has been put back until 2030, every one reading the tea leaves was exposed as an hopium addict, if they were expecting the swamp to be drained.

Reality is about to set in. Especially for the likes of attorneys Lin Wood and Sidney Powell, whom legal commentators were saying that they were committing suicide for their stance regarding election fraud. Mike Lindell “the pillow guy” is already suffering retribution for supporting Trump. And Assange is left in limbo, with no pardon–a condition for China Mitch McConnell’s assurances that Trump will be protected, according to some reports.

There have been whispers that China has a deal to subsume Australia, NZ, Japan, Taiwan within its sphere of influence, as part of the forthcoming global reset. Vale the days of “She’ll be right, mate.”

The often saffron-robed Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj claimed that prior to Donald Trump’s 2016 win, he heard from the Heavenly Council in a vision that this was God’s pick for President. However, this time around (2020), he never claimed that Donald Trump would be reinstalled. Instead, he did say before the elections that the opportunity that USA had been given to repent had been abused, and unless the nation turned and repented, Trump would not be re-elected. Much prayer was required. Apparently not enough prayer was offered to influence the outcome–the evidence of fraud was so obvious!

The atheist might scoff and call such non-biological matters, that Selvaraj espouses, nonsense. From what I can ascertain, Selvaraj is a stand-alone individual as a prophet; not only because he expresses himself in a circumlocutory manner that can be difficult on the ear, but because of the visions he describes.

So much for the sting! It was supposed to have been pulled off at the inauguration with Chris Miller following orders from Donald Trump and a few thousand arrests being made nationwide. Instead, Biden is closing down the 1776 commission Trump initiated, which featured the importance of the constitution.

  65. Mother Lode says:

Having achieve their power, the lifeless articulated Biden and his puppet masters, and when they subsequently start cocking things up and need a nimble media to help them cover up or re-cast the narrative, are we going to see members of the MSM persecuted for being too slow or being to strongly associated with an obsolete opinion.

There is some satisfaction in the thought of them been tramped off to the gulags choking on protestations of loyalty and devotion.

How many of Stalin’s lackeys were ultimately sent where they had previously, and with no qualm, sent hundreds of innocents?

    Biden’s supporters suffer from BDS.

  68. Nick says:

    From the Oz

Past presidents have often pulled back from public life in the immediate aftermath of their presidencies to allow the new commander-in-chief to govern without commentary from his predecessor. Mr Trump, people close to him said, isn’t expected to remain silent for long.

    Cough, Obama, cough

  69. bollux says:

Does it really take 25,000 armed troops to keep Biden away from the kiddies in the crowd?

  70. Mick Gold Coast QLD says:

Fair enough Calli, I had not thought of that – it makes sense.

  72. Mother Lode says:

    Cough, Obama, cough

I remember him buying property in DC claiming he was going to run a shadow White House that would hold Trump to account for everything he did.

Must have annoyed the crap out of him that Trump was a vastly better President than him – if he popped his jug-eared head up to comment on anything it would remind people of how poor Bummer’s record was.

“Get used to low economic growth.” “Those jobs are never coming back.”

He couldn’t even pick on winding back Obamacare because it was so unpopular. And yet he would still consider himself the smartest person in any room.

Goodman won praise for confronting a mob of Donald Trump supporters that broke into the Capitol on 6 January in an effort to stop the certification of Joe Biden’s presidential victory.

As the mob bore down on the closed doors leading to the Senate chamber, from which it was believed that not all members of Congress had yet been evacuated, Goodman intercepted the crowd.

He engaged the leaders of the group and – when they pushed forward – he retreated down an adjacent hallway, leading the mob away from the chamber. In a photograph of the moment captured by a journalist, Goodman, wearing a mask and gloves, points at the mob, demanding their retreat
Elsewhere in the Capitol that day, insurrectionists beat another officer to death, and dozens of officers were injured. In the weeks since the incursion, evidence has emerged that some insurrectionists had come with a serious intention to harm or kidnap lawmakers.

China has said it wants to cooperate with Joe Biden’s new US administration, while announcing sanctions against the “lying and cheating” outgoing secretary of state Mike Pompeo and 27 other top officials under Donald Trump.

  83. Mother Lode says:

Troops turn their backs to Biden

Probably not a bad thing to remind him that they are not automata to do whatever he says. I would not be surprised to find that Biden thinks of troops as many other Democrats do – that they are dimwitted rednecks who like loud noises but cannot think for themselves.

Besides, it will not take long for Biden to find pointless wars for them to be killed or maimed in – helping out his donors and cronys.

  84. Buccaneer says:

No journalists were killed in the filming of the Trump show, the Simpsons were wrong, Trump was not assassinated in office, the truth will out eventually

  85. Miltonf says:

Funny to hear a grifting, pay to play political parasite agonising about cries from the planet.

  86. duncanm says:

We must end this uncivil war that pits red against blue, rural versus urban, conservative versus liberal. We can do this if we open our souls instead of hardening our hearts, if we show a little tolerance and humility, and if we’re willing to stand in the other person’s shoes, as my mom would say. Just for a moment, stand in their shoes.

    The hypocrisy is mind-blowing.

  87. Rex Anger says:

C’mon Rex boy, you know the fraud is bull.

Spitter, I have a rhetorical question for you:

If a group of men invaded your house, stole everything they could lift, murdered your family, beat you to within an inch of your life and burned your house down, and the whole street came out to watch, and then solemnly declared to you that nothing happened and you’re a liar and a racist/fascist/XYZ-ophobe for thinking otherwise, would you agree with them?

  88. Mother Lode says:

Funny to hear a grifting, pay to play political parasite agonising about cries from the planet.

My first thought was “Does he know how big the planet is? It is not just the blue-green film on the surface.” I cannot help but believe that Joe Dotard is unable to reconcile the scales. He would think “Texas is big” and “The Earth is big”, but in both cases ‘Big’ is the same, without grasping that Texas is big compared to Hawaii, Earth is big compared to, say, a person, but Texas is not big compared to Earth.

He is a ‘small numbers’ man (as opposed to our small man, Numbers). He can focus on small numbers but big ones just seem an indistinct blur.

He will have no idea of the scale of the problems he causes.

  89. Catfeesh? says:

Like Magic Wand D’ohbama, Sniffer doesn’t understand how an economy works. He’ll raise taxes, ramp up regulation, repay favours and make appointments that tick enough diversity boxes regardless of talent so he can get the applause from the media that he wants. Then he’ll be completely blindsided by the tanking of the real economy.

No doubt it will be Trump’s fault.

  90. Some History says:

China has said it wants to cooperate with Joe Biden’s new US administration…

    Of course it does.

  91. Miltonf says:

How the real economy works doesn’t interest the political class. In fact they despise the people who make the economy function. They consider themselves so much above the fray that any damage they do will not affect them at all.

  92. notafan says:

It’ll be energy saving dishwashers that need to run through twice over and over and over.

    Have fun Americans.

  93. notafan says:

The fraud as I see it is unsolicited mail out ballots, sent months before election.

  94. Mother Lode says:

No doubt it will be Trump’s fault.

When Bambi got in everything was Bush’s fault for years.

I always loved the graph for Bummer’s stimulus spending showing what would happen to unemployment if the government did nothing and if it did. Needless to say it projected that without a stimulus the number of unemployed would be higher.

Then they superimposed onto this graph the actual unemployment results – the impact of the stimulus was to raise unemployment above where it would have been if Bambi and his mob had left things alone – the stimulus increased unemployment.

  95. John A says:

    A bigger crowd than Trump?

    No, you did not!

  96. Dianeh says:

China has said it wants to cooperate with Joe Biden’s new US administration, while announcing sanctions against the “lying and cheating” outgoing secretary of state Mike Pompeo and 27 other top officials under Donald Trump.

Biden’s puppet masters need to tell China in no uncertain terms that sanctions against US citizens, and that includes former Trump officials, will not be tolerated. This is not a situation that the US can accept, regardless of whether they are Biden’s political enemies.

To not protest shows the new Administration has no balls, and allowing China to dominate.

  97. Tator says:

Not totally surprised by the hypocrisy shown by the Democrats with the 25000 armed National Guard troops on duty during the inauguration, Shouldn’t they have lead by example and had 25000 social workers there to counsel the rampaging hoards like they said would work with domestic violence and other issues that are prevalent in their defund the police campaign.

  98. vlad says:

The NY Times referred to “Former President Donald Trump” not attending the inauguration, which is a breach of etiquette.

Presidents hold the title (like Marines) for life. He is now and forever “President Donald Trump”.

Anyone know what the secret service code name for the new president is ?

    Unity One sounds good.

I’m not usually given to hyperbole, but I have to say that the Inauguration Ceremony was excellent, as was the following Celebration hosted by Tom Hanks. Today America’s better angels have set the country on a much needed path back to civil discourse and compassionate leadership of the free world.

God bless the United States and God protect President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Naive dickheads; I see naive dickheads everywhere.

    Pull the other one, Grigory…

  106. Dianeh:

China has said it wants to cooperate with Joe Biden’s new US administration, while announcing sanctions against the “lying and cheating” outgoing secretary of state…

    Yes.
Emperor 11 was testing the waters by dipping his toe in.
He will follow up by nude full immersion and his quoit pointing at Washington.
Biden has just failed the US on his very first day.
    But not his backers.

    a theatre of the bizarre
seems to me like we had to see with our own eyes how perverse the elites are
this will help us understand what happens next

You’d buy Belle Delphine’s shit in a bottle if the right political party endorsed it.

  109. Anthony says:

As I was going up the stair,
    I met a man who wasn’t there.
    He wasn’t there again today,
    I wish, I wish he’d go away.

Very soon it will be difficult to recall number 46.
