  1. Damon says:

It would seem it might have been inappropriate to award the good doctor an OAM in the first place.

  2. Ubique says:

A proper lefty protest would require leaving Australia until Margaret Court is arrested, publicly tortured and burnt at the stake for her beliefs one would think.

  3. stackja says:

Margaret Court is living in leftists’ heads.

  4. notafan says:

    Noone cares, love.

  5. calli says:

So Doctor Clara Tuck Meng Soo doesn’t value his award?

Tells you all you need to know.

  6. calli says:

To think the “Tuck” part is literal. 😂

  7. Peter Smith says:

Lefties may not like it, but the bible is clear and Margaret Court (Australia’s greatest ever sportswoman) has every right to stick with the bible, as do I. The saving grace, if you are a Christian, is that Christ died for our sins. As Paul says, in that passage which got Folau into trouble, our sins have been washed clean. But, to be clear, among the many sins available for mankind to commit are homosexual acts. Gay marriage, which Ms Court opposes, invites the celebration of sin. None of that gives license to treat people unkindly or discriminate against them. And I don’t believe that Ms Court acts or believes otherwise. Give her a break and the well-deserved gong.

  8. C.L. says:

    Yep, Calli.
    Read it all, folks.

  9. Struth says:

She should return it because she should not have received it in the first place.

    Where is this LGBT ..whatever,…..located?
Do they all agree with each other on everything, with the rest of the world against them.
Alan Jones….being a homosexual, is he part of the community.
Receiving honours for working with a non existent “community” should never have happened in the first place.

  10. Struth says:

Waleed Ali, a mus sie, got stuck into her as well.
That’s right, a mus sie…..you couldn’t make that shit up.

  11. PB says:

Then I clicked on the link and it all ceased to matter.

  12. PB says:

“Do they all agree with each other on everything, with the rest of the world against them.”

I think that’s mostly lesbians. From my experience the guys tend to veer toward Conservatism, or they used to.

  13. PB says:

“And I don’t believe that Ms Court acts or believes otherwise.”

I don’t think I’ve actually heard much of what Margaret herself says, but I’ve certainly heard angry media wimminz filtering for me what she apparently says.

  14. areff says:

She denies ever saying trans kids are the spawn of Satan. Claims the interviewer said it, and it was then attributed to her.

Damon you are far too generous!

  16. Bruce in WA says:

    Scalpel.Nose.Spite.Face

  17. Up The Workers! says:

    What a Mickey Mouse, piss-poor wimp-out of a protest!

Handing back a gong you shouldn’t have received inthe first place is no protest of value at all.

In order to do it seriously, surely it calls for:

    1). Hemlock;
    2). Seppuku;
    3). Arkancide, and
4). Self Immolation, in that order.

    That’ll teach ’em, SURELY!

  19. Rabbi Putin says:

Hahaha! And the petty lefty tantrums begin! Give Margaret five more trophies!

  20. Cassie of Sydney says:

The doctor is an exhibitionist…..and an adolescent one at that.

Margaret Court, unlike the attention seeking Canberra doctor, is all class.

  21. Siltstone says:

Tuck Me Doodle, I thought it was a story from the Betoota Advocate.

  22. Clam Chowdah says:

    FOAD

  23. Gorilla Dance Party says:

    “Tuck Meng Soo”

Interesting name for an Australian. Please note that the good doctor would be out of work in her own practice if most people followed the sexual health advice favoured by Margaret Court.

One would hope that this could be used as a reason to stop these silly awards altogether but leftists always need an avenue for self-congratulation and preferably at our expense.

  24. rickw says:

    Wanker.

  25. Amadeus says:

Good to see another lefty playing the LGBXZYPTBN discrimination card, another fluffy ducky off with the fairies.
More worthy Australians might now get recognition.
Clara appears to be a mere youngster who knows sweet FA about Australia’s greatest achievers – the heavy lifters who cemented the world view of Australians as “fighting above our weight” in the international sphere.
Disagreeing with Margaret’s views is one thing since we are a country that still has some semblance of free speech. But to suggest the great Margaret Court is not a worthy recipient of our highest honours smacks of petulance, bigotry and intolerance. Bugger off Clara.
Next thing she’ll have a crack at Dame Joan Sutherland who held far more “controversial” views (including bout homosexuals) which would not only offend the professional offence industry but probably send some of them over the edge.
Most Australians tolerate people like Clara as long as they don’t behave like socialists and Nazis.. If she’s not happy with views here perhaps go somewhere else. Perhaps China that model of tolerance, LGBTIXVDSWQA folks and free speech.

  26. JohnJJJ says:

Does that mean there’s a spare one now? I’d like to humbly suggest my self for services to Australia by just getting on with life as best I can.

  27. Iain Russell says:

Calli is correct of course, but even more inaccurately ‘Tuck’ or Duck in Cantonese /Hokkien usually means ‘virtuous’.

  28. calli says:

    Lol, Iain.

For balance I looked up “nip” to go with “tuck”.

to be affectedly bashful; to create difficulties

    😀

  29. Iain Russell says:

Where, oh where, is the Sisterhood denouncing this ‘misogyny’ and these powerful stale pale males punching down on a minority?

  30. David says:

Just show how dumb some smart people can be it is all about tennis and the huge amount of good works she does Funny i agree with all that she says

  31. John A says:

    Carumba! Where to start?

    From the linked article:

Dr Soo received her honour in 2016 for her work as a medical practitioner with LGBT people and those with HIV and drug dependencies.

In 2018, she became one of the first GPs in Australia to undergo gender transition.

Did the writer of the article check on the pronouns before committing to print?

The OA award committee (it just has to be a committee, doesn’t it?) showed significant balance at the time this recipient was gonged. However, I didn’t see any headline-making conservative or Christian OAM sending back their medal because this doctor was gonged.

Grow up, you petulant headline-grabbing teenager!

  32. Snotball says:

This is probably news to doctor hoo flung dung but Margaret Court is getting the award for her contribution to tennis and public service – not for her views on deviant marriage. I think the average person is getting sick and tired of this cancel culture garbage. Give your award back if you like. The only one who gives a rats arse is yourself and you seem like a bigot to boot.

  33. Back Burn says:

not for her views on deviant marriage.

They are called “low diversity marriages”.

“Only one gender in a marriage? How bigoted!”

  34. Dave of Reedy Creek, Qld says:

Wow, one person gets so much attention and probably 99% of the population have never heard of that person. Most people know of Margaret Court’s spectacular and unrivaled tennis accomplishments plus her pastoral work and that of her church are legendary. I have had communications with her and she is an amazing and compassionate person. So sick of the destructive knockers in this country with their attack on anyone who doesn’t agree with them and their leftist philosophy. Hey, there are millions of us who don’t agree with theirs so we need to start fighting back.

  35. thefrollickingmole says:

    Its a man baby!

Dr Soo received her honour in 2016 for her work as a medical practitioner with LGBT people and those with HIV and drug dependencies.

In 2018, she became one of the first GPs in Australia to undergo gender transition.

    Mentally ill doctors, great stuff.

Needs to be juxtaposed with this quadrant story.
    https://quadrant.org.au/magazine/2021/01/the-persecution-of-a-doctor/
“In the public interest”, in August 2019, the registration of a Melbourne Christian doctor, Jereth Kok, was suspended by the Medical Board of Victoria. His appeal was rejected by the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) in February 2020[1]. He awaits further deliberation, humiliated, unemployed, and with a wife and three children to support.

No criminal charges have been made against Kok. Nor is he physically or mentally unwell. Nor has he failed to keep up to date and practise accordingly. Nor have there been complaints from patients or the LGBT community. To the contrary, his alleged danger to the public interest lies in some of his little-read postings on social media, brought to the attention of the board and its investigating arm, the Australian Health Practitioners’ Regulatory Agency (AHPRA) by two anonymous complainants.

  36. Iain Russell says:

    🉐️ Tuck/Duck….’virtue’ etc. Mandarin ‘de’.

  37. Gorilla Dance Party says:

Sorry, I misgendered him in my last post. I should have said “his own practice”.

  38. Leigh Lowe says:

Isn’t this a good opportunity to name and shame those posturing leftists who have not handed back their gongs?

  39. Snoopy says:

If a doctor took to barking and chasing cars down the street and sniffing the crotches of people he just met, he would be deregistered.

But if the same doctor requests another doctor to cut his nuts off and turn his todger inside-out, he’s a hero worthy of an OAM.

    This Australia.

  40. The Manager says:

Clara Cluck was a Disney cartoon character.
    Apt.

  41. Cassie of Sydney says:

    “Clara Tuck Meng Soo”

The “lady” is a man…always was and always will be.

I’m glad Dr Tuck Meng Soo is returning the award…..HE should never have been given it in the first place.

  42. Lee says:

He/she should return his/her/its citizenship papers.

  43. Robber Baron says:

  45. CL’s politics are indistinguishable from Protestantism.

Please explain how your view of CL’s religion restores Dr. Sue’s cock.

  46. Old Lefty says:

No, Silstone, this is not he Beetoota Advocate; it is what passes for news on the ABC.

And do read the whole article from Quadrant on Dr Kwok linked by frollickingmole. The same Victorian ALP flunky on the VCAT who has upheld the persecution of Kwok has a record of letting r0pists and p3rv3rts have working with children cards. The crucial difference, I suppose, is that said deviants don’t come from the churches, private schools or other enemies of the revolution and so are progressive social liberators.

  47. Tom says:

The sooner Tony Abbott is knighted, the better.

Why not go for the triple lefty head explosions special? Simultaneous knighthoods for Sir Tony Abbott, Sir Ruperdink Mudrock (as an honorary Australian born in Melbourne) and Dame Gina Rhinehart.

It would be like a month-long Guy Fawkes Night in North Fitzroy, Ultimo and Fortitude Valley as every lefty tax hoover in the country self-immolated.

  48. Old Lefty says:

Don’t wait for Mr Julian (How I Love Flashing My Postnominals) Burnside AO QC to hand back his gong. There’s as much chance of that as if his giving his beloved refugees access free of charge to his $20 million (est) property portfolio.

Unlike Margaret Court and her church, leftist poseurs like to be generous and compassionate with other people’s money.

No wonder the Currency Lad identifies with Margaret Court so much: brought up Roman Catholic but converted to Pentecostalism to better align with her views. CL’s politics are indistinguishable from Protestantism.”

    Ignorant, untrue and nasty.

  50. Perfidious Albino says:

I dislike Burnside as much as the next bloke and have found myself involuntarily ‘hissing’ at him on more than one instance crossing paths in public – but, to his credit (or perhaps his wife’s) he does actually house selected refos in a special wing of his salubrious digs in Hawthorn.

  51. Rex Anger says:

No wonder the Currency Lad identifies with Margaret Court so much: brought up Roman Catholic but converted to Pentecostalism to better align with her views. CL’s politics are indistinguishable from Protestantism.

Benito M0ntylini is religiously tolerant- Benito M0ntylini tolerates only the State.

All hail the most tolerant il Dunce!

  52. TLD says:

Dr. Soo practices tolerance by demanding exclusion.

  53. Cassie of Sydney says:

“All hail the most tolerant il Dunce!”

    A perfect description RA.

  54. Rex Anger says:

Sorry Cassie- I’ve been having a little too much fun on the Election Post-Mortem threads.

I regret I have yet to surpass my peak M0ntylini putdown:

Buffalo Chronicle is a fake news site. Only stupid people would be taken in by its bullshit

And it took you a whole hour to confirm that, mUnted?

How many twitter accounts did you have to search to ‘confirm’ this fAkT?

Or did it take you that long to read up to the heist of the century: the 2020 presidential election?

Whereupon your brain’s superbly programmed and hypersensitive REEEEEEEEE! centre farted itself awake, sat up bearily, rubbed its eyes and scratched its arse, looked at that sentence and promptly declared HERESY!!!1!

  55. yarpos says:

How wonderfully virtuous of her to hand back their award. Imagine the brownie points garnered amongst the regressive glitterati in Canberra. She will dine out on that for years.

I wonder if she also refuses to treat patients that dont agree with the full PC agenda also? May never see any I guess.

  56. Texas Jack says:

Dear Clara Tuck Meng Soo, we’re very happy for you to explain your decision to hand back your worthless Order of Australia Medal. Now fark off.

  57. H B Bear says:

Another chapter in “Canberra – Australia’s Greatest Mistake”. An ongoing work.

  58. Vicki says:

Was delighted to hear that Margaret Court had been given the highest nod.

Well done to the selection panel for defying the howling wives of the Left.

  59. Vicki says:

Ha – that should be “howling wolves” – but “howling wives (on the Left) will do as well.

  60. thefrollickingmole says:

but, to his credit (or perhaps his wife’s) he does actually house selected refos in a special wing of his salubrious digs in Hawthorn.

For the full experience he should have no say how many reside there, for how long and they have free access to all parts of the house and his possessions.
Oh and there need to be a number of lawyers there who undercut his prices on every potential earner.

And if he objects to any of it the house can have a binding vote.

Welcome to unlimited open doors migration Julian.

  61. Mick Gold Coast QLD says:

Canberra dime a dozen legged-up general practitioner Clara Tuck Meng Soo can go back to where she came from¹ any time she likes, soon would be good.

The good doctor makes a fabulous income and received her gong for flogging penicillin to freak show freaks, I see. She could have been honest by declaring her interest in profiting from that lot, but she wasn’t.

¹ Fyshwick, Mitchell, Waniassa … that is what I mean, obviously. Of course, oh yes.

  62. Mustapha Bunn says:

    It’s a bloke then ?

  63. The Sheriff says:

All leftists should refuse to participate in the Order of Australia. That would be a net benefit to the Order, to the nation, and a true sign of respect to the Queen as Sovereign of the Order.

  64. H.B.Bear:

    Canberra – Australias Greatest Mistake.

I just did a brief calculation on ‘Nukemap‘ and it will take a W53 (9 Mt, Titan II ) to erase this mistake.
    So what’s our biggest nuke?
    What? We don’t have any?
Well. That was a silly idea, wasn’t it?

  65. Mater says:

    Good.
    It’s a start.

  66. MatrixTransform says:

Tsar Bomba just to be sure I reckon

  68. Mick Gold Coast QLD says:

From Mustapha Bunn at 3:55 pm:

    “It’s a bloke then ?”

Well bugger me, you are right.

I do enjoy when freak show freaks personally put the deep seated dishonesty of their sorry lot on public display.

I wonder if Mister Clara Tuck Meng Soo had his doodle lopped off to declare his unequivocal devotion to the cause?

  69. Igor says:

Clearly Clara Fuck Me Soo is not deserving of it in the first place.
Having said that, Real Awards for real achievements for the likes of Margaret Court should be established.

  70. MatrixTransform says:

    unequivocal devotion to the cause?

    That’s commitment for sure

  71. Fred says:

Dr Soo is happy to share Australian honours with paedophile Bob Collins AO and blackface comedian Magda Szubanksi AO, but not with the great tennis player of all time.

  72. Suburban Boy says:

He is self-evidently psychologically unbalanced: deregister him for the sake of his patients.

  73. Roger says:

So Doctor Clara Tuck Meng Soo doesn’t value his award?

Tells you all you need to know.

If he does return it, I hope somebody makes sure he no longer uses OAM as a postnominal.

  74. jo says:

Hand back your Australian citizenship and F#$%&^ off.

  75. jo says:

Benito M0ntylini is religiously tolerant- Benito M0ntylini tolerates only the State.

All hail the most tolerant il Dunce!

    Love it Rex

  76. Squirrel says:

When I heard (for the first time) Margaret Court described today as a Pentecostalist, I realised what the fuss is all about.

This story will doubtless be the talk of the BBQs throughout the land on Tuesday……

  77. Des Deskperson says:

To be fair to Dr Soo, the clinic he is involved in – located in that fairly scruffy area around the Civic West bus interchange – looks after marginalised and disadvantaged people in general – including the homeless and people with language difficulties – as well as HIV sufferers and drug addicts.

Prima facie, he deserved his gong in 2016.

  78. maree says:

Why did Clara Tuck Men receive a medal if she valued it so little? BTW, never heard of her, but I sure have known of Margaret Court over decades for her tennis achievements and refusal to be bowed into submission.

Not that I agree with everything she espouses, but feeding the poor and homeless surely isn’t a sin against the left’s version of humanity?

The left doesn’t realise de-platforming and cancelling is a two-way street. I have de-platformed and cancelled them from my life. It is like a good spring cleaning. Banning them from my headspace is such a relief.

  79. PB says:

I didn’t twig straight up that she was a he, but that just makes it all the funnier, and less meaningful.

  80. Ed Case says:

First i’ve heard Court described as a Pentecostalist, previously she was Pastor of a church she founded herself.
What’s the real Story here, it must be bigger than gays asking her for counselling?
Do the Big 4 Churches fear the minnows are muscling in on their Refugee Resettlement Rackets and are using the gays as Mercenary Troops?
If we had an honest Press in Australia instead of the lying scumbags we’ve got, this question wouldn’t need to be asked.

  81. notafan says:

Lol yes that’s the ‘real’ story.

  82. Megan says:

Excellent start with the gong return, Dr Soo. Now just take your bat and ball and skulk off home to mummy. She must be so proud.

  83. The Barking Toad says:

Clara Tuck Meng Soo, probably known as Harry before the nip and tuck can go and get well and truly fucked.

Glad it handed back the award in a token gesture of supporting the qwertys.

    Just fuck off bloke.

  84. The Barking Toad says:

In fact lift up your frock and have a self righteous pull!

  85. a reader says:

You can’t make this shit up

  86. Louis Litt says:

    Ed Case
    Whaaat.

  87. John A says:

Margaret Courts Victory Life Centre cooks and distributes thousands of meals a week to the poor, needy and homeless each week. They have a hugely positive impact on the marginalised in our community. But you wont here any of this from their ABC or the biased commercial media. She’s a fantastic woman, the haters can just f#$k off.

  88. The Barking Toad says:

I’de like to see Margaret Court give the alleged doctor a good forehand.

Just because it prescribes drugs to qwertys and druggos to get an award thankfully handed back and underserved.

And I bet it touches itself at night.

  89. Iain Russell says:

HBB, it’s the Mistake by the Lake.

  90. Ed Case says:

    Louis Litt
Have any of the Archbishops, Moderators, Grand Poobahs, etc. stood up to defend her?
Don’t you find that a tad odd for professed “Christians”?

  91. A reader says:

Not sure if they have been out and about this year but certainly the Anglican Archbishops of Sydney and Tasmania have supported Court.

  92. Des Deskperson says:

‘Why did Clara Tuck Men receive a medal if she valued it so little? ‘

All the online CVs and profiles of Dr Tuck indicate that, until now, she was very proud of it. To be fair to Dr Tuck:

    in the health field and with the resources she has available, Dr Tuck appears to be doing as much for the disadvantaged as Ms Court;

up until now, there is no evidence that she was any sort of public agitator or proselytiser for the transgender, err, agenda. Outside of a couple of professional journals, there is very little publicity about her own transition. Her online CV at the Hobart Place Clinic does not mention it.

there is no evidence that she was previously the sort of chronic activist pest that usually runs with these issues.

She may be misguided, but she appears to be genuine and her giving up her previously valued award is more than just a stunt.

  93. mundi says:

    Talk about attention seeker

He has returned it 5 years later because he doesn’t agree with free speech of other people who also got

  94. RJH says:

Know who I would trust my back to – Australias greatest Tennis Player with a proven long record of personal generosity or to someone who doesn’t even know if he’s Arthur or Martha? Sure wouldn’t be rushing to him/her for any advice on anything particularly when he/she can’t even work out whether he/she is a worthy recipient of the OAM?

  95. Annie says:

One wonders whether this fuss over Margaret Court’s award would have happened if she was a member of the ‘religion of peace’; you know, the one that tosses homosexuals off rooftops.

  96. David says:

Good old cross dresser Do not like here go away

  97. Rockdoctor says:

Meh, hand it back and good riddence. Enjoy your 15 sec of fame and now back to relative mediocrity. Australian of the year jumps more sharks this year by the looks of it as well… I wasn’t even aware of the finalists is how much attention I give it these days…
