It’s just the start with worse to come

Without Trump to Blame, Virus Turns the Corner.

A year ago, it was the greatest threat to humankind since the Black Death. Now it’s on the verge of becoming just another seasonal virus.

Which it is. Plus these.

Plus this summing up.

I wish I didn’t know now what I didn’t know then
I sure wish I had not learned so much over the last five years. In retrospect, five short years ago seems almost like Mayberry. Here are some important things that I didn’t know five years ago or now. There actually is a deep state and they really do not honor the election results nor the will of the people. There really appear to be lawless elements within the upper echelons of the FBI, CIA, and NSA who are not accountable for their crimes and are thus above the law. The fourth branch of government, the bureaucracy, really is unaccountable to the “unwashed masses.”
`

And finally, just as a reminder that America’s democracy is a complete sham.

Trump’s Exit Approval Rating Higher than Biden’s Entrance Approval Rating
Rasmussen Reports, one of only about three reputable pollsters out there, found that His Fraudulency Joe Biden’s first ever job approval rating as president is a pathetic 48 percent. Get this… President Trump’s exit approval rating was 51 percent. HAHAHAHAHA!! It gets even better… When President Trump took office in 2017, his first job approval rating in this same poll was 56 percent, which is eight points higher than His Fraudulency’s 48 percent. Hell, even Barry Obama entered office with a 67 percent approval rating back in ’09. The more you look at these numbers, the worse they are for Biden. When President Trump entered office, his disapproval rating was 44 percent.

Serves the smug union idiots right. They are getting exactly what they financially contributed to and voted for. Too dumb to see past the end of their Democrat noses

  2. Tom says:

From the president Americans didn’t vote for in record numbers comes all the stuff they didn’t want, like a flood of illegal immigrants who will decimate the wages of the poorest workers in the country.

The only people it benefits are big business and the Hollywood rich, for whom the cost of cheap servants from Mexico will fall.

And there won’t be any stories about it in the media because that would be waaaaaycist.

The Democrats are now the party of the fat cats while pretending they’re not. And there’s nothing Americans can do about it because voting for anyone but the Washington swamp is now illegal thanks to the Chinese-owned election software that was installed last year.

  3. nb says:

The new president is a most remarkable man. It is obvious that this reasonably capable person prior to his aneurism became, after the operation, a genius. Witness:
    a) Without a campaign he has captured the imaginations of Americans, making him the most popular incoming president ever, while not being so. Not only that, he did this while showing contempt for all those deplorable people who voted for him in such prodigious numbers.
    b) Over the decades, on a congressional salary, he and his family have become super wealthy.
    c) He ran against George, but beat Donald.
    d) He seems to be able to cure us of the virus with just a few words, or not, depending how the wind blows.
    e) The elan of his genius allows him to recognise the true role for the IRS is to sift through conservative organisations with a fine-tooth comb checking for things that might be used against them.
    f) And dare I mention his subtle and devious program protecting the USA from Chinese infiltration, a task into which he has enrolled his entire family, plus so many of his congressional colleagues, such as Mitch.
    g) He doesn’t even look a bit like Klaus Schwab or wear Darth Vader jackets. Instead he wears a Rolex, a man of the people.
With such political talent the list of his achievements will be monumental.

You will not just be branded racist, you will be deplatformed, sacked from jour job, not able to do any business with anyone else or even have access to banking facilities, unpersoned. There is no exile or possibility to escape somewhere, the whole world is in “their” power. This is diabolical.

  5. Crossie says:

He can’t bowl, and he can’t throw yet Americans have the filthy degenerate batting at first drop and opening the bowling. For mine Americans now have no self respect, no dignity and no honour; and they have no regard for the self destruction they have invited. Much like the collapse of the British Empire this will be astonishingly swift and irreversible.

They deserve every disaster that comes their way. McConnell, Pelosi, the first grub – they are old fools who have not a clue what they are doing or precisely who it is controlling their actions.

Surely the brazenness of the steal is meant as a pointed demonstration of how comfortable in their position Biden’s/Harris’ puppet masters are.

They did not sneak a credible leader over the line – someone who, coupled with the energetic if clunky theatre of the MSM, looked like a mass of people we did not know might nevertheless have supported.

No, they brought up Joe Biden. A man with no history of achievement, no energy, lacking coherence, and who seemed unable to even motivate himself for a day (much less 81 million voters), and with social graces not so much lacking as displaced by something perverted. His rallies were wastelands bar a few reporters and curious passers by.

Petty, confused, aphasic, and an old creep.

If they can get him to win, what hope does anyone else have? What won’t they do to anyone so foolhardy as to try?

    Excellent comment ML.

They know Joe is a lemon but they made him the president just to make sure everyone gets the message. They own Joe just as much as they now own the US.

    As for..

“If they can get him to win, what hope does anyone else have? What won’t they do to anyone so foolhardy as to try?”

There isn’t hope. That’s it….the USA is now a one party state and I believe Trump was the last GOP President. The GOP can go through the motions of pretending to be a party but it won’t be…I doubt it can even win the senate again…..Pedo Joe is already planning to make DC a state with two senators….I doubt that a state called Washington DC will ever elect GOP senators.

So buyer’s remorse has quickly set in…after a few days. LOL……it was all so predictable….whether it’s Keystone or the transgender order…it was clear what was going to happen. As for the transgender order, this is an order of pure unadulterated misogyny which now eradicates the reality of biological sex…of biological women. Where are the street protests from feminists? Nothing…silence. And they called Trump a misogynist. I can’t stop laughing.

    You reap what you sow.

  12. 132andBush says:

I think a lot of people are not able to grasp the fact that a lot of people voted against Trump because they “didn’t like the way he spoke”.

The problem in the west is the MSM combined with various social media sewers. Both heavily contaminated and politicised by far-left progressivism. If it suits their far-left progressive narrative, they will happily run cover for even the most corrupt governments in history…just look at our own media and how it treats the disgraceful Daniel Andrews and his government. Given the over 800 dead in Victoria….do you think the kid gloves would have been out if the Victorian government had been “Liberal”? No. Yet the vile Andrews is given a free run.

America is gone and we’re not too far behind.

I’m not convinced of this necessarily. Granted, Joe Stolen is a dunce, and an evil one. However, he has good brand recognition among stupid voters and Democrats (but I repeat myself) who don’t bother to look any further than the candidate’s name or the headline in a NYT article. He was VP to D’ohbama! He has experience! He must be better than that nasty, uncouth Donald Trump!

The District of Columbia is not part of America.

It is a foreign owned usurper Corporate Government created with the Act of 1871.

Interesting that it’s currently occupied by 65,000+ troops.

Trump is still President. I’d wager he has been sworn in under the original Constitution and on American soil.

    That’s a fact.
However what isn’t as well established is the number of people who will use them to re-establish their liberty.
Fearful of putting themselves in harms way, facing the destruction of their way of life through Government responses to the use of force, and the stultifying effects of decades of sloth make me question the motivation of Americans to use those guns.

But this is compounded by the fact that this survey was done after his first full day in office, a day where he put 75,000 people out of work and announced several other kooky changes a lot of people didn’t like.
Cannot assign all of this approval rating difference to the pre-election popularity.

The real villains here are the Republican leadership, McConnell in particular is a vile creature. I can even understand Democrats, they will simply do everything for their voters. Republicans will not do a thing for their voters, they even gang up with Dems against them. Democrats will not need to rig anything in the midterms, Republicans will sit it out.

  37. Ed Case says:

***Back to the endless wars: US military convoy enters northeast Syria***
    This is a tad misleading.
The U.S. has been in NE Syria for years, that’s where the Oil is, it’s just that as far as we know, the headchoppers weren’t entering the rest of Syria from the American province while Trump was President.

  38. John Comnenus says:

It will be interesting to see who emerges as the Biden Harris puppet master. Either way, the Dems cannot allow the GOP to capture the House or Senate in the mid terms, so they won’t.

At this stage, why would anyone vote Republican anyway?

The USA will become a defacto one party state like California or New York. America as we knew it is finished as the whole country becomes California where the filthy rich, get richer, live in luxury amongst a growing class of serfs barely able to make ends meet and a hollowed out middle class slowly transferring their remaining wealth to the oligarchs in charge. The public service will increasingly be a means to reward the ideologically sound and provide the working class foot soldiers for the oligarchs with pay and perquisites as a means to improve themselves.

Slowly but surely political correctness will shift from being used to deplatform people and become a criminal matter. The whole Biden agenda is designed to shove the jackboot right in the face of middle America who will become hostages of their government, not unlike the old Soviet Union. Meanwhile the Capitol is surrounded by tens of thousands of troops of dubious loyalty who are made to live in a car park.

But just remember, Trump was apparently a dictator who just didn’t get around to enacting anything dictatorial. Now the professionals are in charge and they will show Middle America that they mean business with the full backing of the Courts, the FBI and police and the Wehrmacht, I mean the US military.

Trump had super power to get people to publicly reveal who they really are. Unfortunately we can now all see the oligarchy behind America and the rotten corruption at its core. And presiding over all of it are a bunch of dictators getting rich through political office like every other dictatorship known to history.

  39. Ed Case says:

Leaving aside allegations of theft, Joe’s victory was won by a huge black turnout and women in the suburbs.
Yeah, I know, Trump improved his black vote from 2015 from 8% to 10%.

Blacks will predictably vote Democrat, it’ just a matter of getting out the vote, but what are women in the suburbs getting out of a Biden Admin.?

It will be interesting to see who emerges as the Biden Harris puppet master.

I suggest that there is a group. The lead ideologue is chairman of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Swab and his Fourth Industrial Revolution. This ideology of social engineering with philosopher kings in charge, all covered over by a blancmange of care and concern. “”Fairness” is one of their favourite sweeteners. Max Headroom Biden and cookie Jill are the perfect front.
I predict that, with the exception of the foreign press such as RT.com, you will hear noting but cuteness for the next few years in the press. All words will be used to distract and cover up reality. But at least Melbourne always has a good hair day.

  43. candy says:

I think it is simply Obama who is behind the policy work – because it all his policies going back four years ago, which was why it was all already to go on day 1, and the Fraud President just had to sign something.

The old Democrat gang is back together including Pelosi doing the same stuff, and maybe with a view to Michelle Obama in four years’ time. With the acceptance of fraud she is a shoo-in. Biden probably gets emails and messages daily from Obama to tell him what the plans and decisions are.
He can barely answer a couple of questions before he gets angry and rude either from dementia or bad manners.

So I think it Obama behind it all with a good helping from Pelosi.

  44. Boris says:

Some of the Biden criticisms are fair but the first one is not. Biden is criticized strongly by the media for his inadequate response to COVID, including that 1M vaccinations a day is inadequate and a mere 10% increase over current rates.

So I think it Obama behind it all with a good helping from Pelosi.

I wish it were true. While I am not a fan of Obama, the current crop of Democrat leadership is far worse.

  46. old bloke says:

Perhaps it’s an omen for how the Biden administration will go; after the inauguration the Bidens arrived at the White House and they were left standing at the front door. They had already sacked the Trump appointed staff so no one was there to open the door for them.

  47. Struth says:

Boris, you fecal brain, the useful idiots are always the first to go.
They’ve started to crack down on antifa, who are now no longer needed and in fact a threat..they can be disposed of, and the Puppet geriatric in the oval office will be dealt with when needed to be.

You might want to watch and learn. There is no end to leftism’s continued push left until millions are dead and war is inevitable. They never stop.
The extremists are now starting to really flex their newly acquired muscle and power.
Biden is a puppet swamp criminal , nearly dead and will be dealt with relatively soon.

  48. 132andBush says:

    Ed,

  50. Colonel Crispin Berka says:

Great little opinion piece here which reminds us how horrible political and economic collapse can be, let alone war and re-education camps. The first important point is that it is totally possible for society to change dramatically very quickly and we tend to underestimate the ease with which this can happen if we have not personally lived through it, so we will downplay the warning signs.
Another important point being made is that you cannot credibly toy around with violent impulses like this. It’s dangerous for keyboard warriors to flirt with talk of civil war or “reap the whirlwind” as “Lee” says above, and Lee if that’s not what you mean you should be specific instead of using vague metaphors.

Everyone knows this, but Sanders was unelectable. Solution? Nominate a senile, and ineffectual old man, and install a radical left-winger as VP. Then wait.

  53. Ed Case says:

    Not really.
Hillary was an awful candidate, the worst the Democrats have ever put up
Blacks stayed home, the Women’s vote wasn’t enthused, yet she still got 64 million votes, 2 million more than Trump.
By 2020, America was over Trump, he’s broken nearly all his promises and his only hope was a contested Democratic Convention.
The DNC cut him off at the knees by selecting Biden early and forcing Warren, Klobuchar, Buttigieg to drop out and rally around Joe.
The Dems did the same in 1976 with Carter, who was unknown the year before, Clinton in 1992, and Obama, who was a nobody with no accomplishments.
Another factor worth pointing out is that Trump is a Mason and Joe is a sort of Catholic.
Close enough turned out to be good enough.

  54. Ed Case says:

Sanders is electable all right, it’s just that the DNC don’t want him, that’s how they ended up with Hitlery last time. Joe coulda won in ’16 but the Clintons stopped him early, same as in ’08.

Harris is a hard one to figure out , she’s electoral poison and has no support, so they can’t run her in ’24.
My guess is that she’s so personally unlikeable, she’s been placed there to free up her Senate seat and prevent someone else using the job as stepping stone to the Presidency.

    January 23, 2021
The Damnatio Memoriae of Donald Trump
By Rev. Peter M. J. Stravinskas

Back in my high school English classes, we were treated to one Shakespearean play each year and were required to commit to memory a soliloquy from each. I can still recite the whole of Portia’s hymn to mercy from The Merchant of Venice. Sophomore year, the play was Julius Caesar, so as to coincide with our Latin course which had us translate Caesar’s De Bello Gallico. Marc Antony’s panegyric for Caesar sprung to mind as one after another former friend and supporter of President Donald Trump flipped sides, essentially engaging in a favorite ancient Roman exercise of damnatio memoriae (the damnation or cancellation of the memory of someone). I pray that I have been sufficiently inoculated against that terrible virus.

Sometimes friends are irked by my refusal to paint persons and situations with a broad brush, even bringing up good traits in otherwise bad individuals. I attribute that “flaw” of mine to a profound sense of justice, which is generally defined as giving to each person his due. That’s why, for example, I refused to get onboard the “cancel McCarrick” train as I pointed out all the good he had done (particularly as Archbishop of Newark, where he reclaimed Seton Hall University from secular control; banned General Absolution; brought Catholic schools back from the brink; packed the seminaries; returned the Archdiocese to full communion with the Catholic Church – all done to undo the immense damage done by his predecessor.)

I find myself in a similar place with the now-former President Trump. I do so with no small degree of trepidation, fearing that I might be opening myself up to the “deprogramming” called for by Katie Couric for members of the “Trump cult.”

Let me be perfectly clear: Donald Trump is a flawed human being. And that is so because of the sin of our first parents. He can be very vulgar. His personal insecurity often caused him to regard alternate viewpoints in his orbit, not as “the loyal opposition” but as enemies. His name-calling (which at times can be quite entertaining) also came off as juvenile. All of those characteristics made me in early 2016 a “NeverTrumper.” As he became the frontrunner for the Republicans and Hillary Clinton became the Democratic nominee, I realized I had no moral alternative but to put a clothespin on my nose, change course, and vote for Trump — and to use my God-given grace of Christian prophecy as a priest to convince others to do the same. With his election and in very short order thereafter, I repented of my negative judgment on the man (all the while wishing that his personal liabilities would disappear).

Presently, I wish to take three excerpts of the eulogy Shakespeare places on Marc Antony’s lips, using them as points of reflection:

    The evil that men do lives after them;

The good is oft interred with their bones. . .

You all did love him once, not without cause:

What cause withholds you then, to mourn for him?

O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts,

    And men have lost their reason. Bear with me;

My heart is in the coffin there with Caesar,

And I must pause till it come back to me.

What good did Donald Trump do that should not be “interred” but should “live after” him? What could cause former supporters to commit damnatio memoriae? What will happen when “men have lost their reason”?

What were the accomplishments of the Trump administration and how did they mirror classical Catholic social doctrine? Let’s survey the landscape.

Middle-class family income increased by nearly $6000.
The lowest unemployment rate in half a century, with particular beneficiaries being African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, veterans, and those with disabilities.
Poverty levels for Blacks and Hispanics reaching record lows.
Tax relief for the middle class achieved.
The creation of nearly 9000 “Opportunity Zones” to lift a million Americans out of poverty.
    Historic support rendered to farmers.
The Child Credit Tax doubled to $2000.
Over 230 federal judges confirmed, along with three justices for the Supreme Court — judges who believe in judicial restraint and a strict mode of interpretation of the Constitution.
An historic peace agreement brokered between Israel and Arab-Muslim countries.
No new war launched for the first time in fifty years.
Renewed attention given to the needs of veterans.
This administration and President the most proactive in promoting the sanctity of human life, with actions too numerous to list here, but well symbolized by President Trump’s being the first President to participate in the March for Life in person.
Strong stances consistently taken to protect religious liberty in America and around the world, again too numerous to mention.
Parental freedom of choice in education advocated.
    Historically Black colleges supported.
The opioid crisis declared a national public health emergency, thus bringing it to the forefront.
Those accomplishments would gladden the heart of true papal social justice warriors like Pope Leo XIII and Pope St. John Paul II — and so, should not and cannot be forgotten.

If all of this is the case, then how to explain “defectors” from Trumpism? Gutlessness and political maneuvering. And the very loss of reason that Shakespeare castigated. If Our Lord spoke well in asserting that “by their fruits you will know them” (Mt 7:16) — and He always did speak well — we can say that the Tree of Trump was (and still is) a very good tree. It is a tree that had its seeds in the social teaching of the Church and bore some astonishing fruit.

Hence, far from erasing the memory of Donald Trump, I stand firm in holding it most dearly forever and intend to work and pray for the fruits he produced to remain. Marc Antony’s paean to Caesar can provide salutary food for thought for a Catholic examination of conscience. It has led me to conclude that Donald Trump, malgré lui (in spite of himself), may well be deemed the first truly Catholic president. May we Catholics never forget the immense good that he did. I surely shan’t — even if Couric gets me sent to one of her “deprogramming” re-education camps. That said, I believe that I am genetically prepared: Many of my Lithuanian, Ukrainian, and Polish ancestors endured the same.

    Demonstrably false, Bolshevik Boris.

It will be interesting to see who emerges as the Biden Harris puppet master.

I reckon there are a few, all with different agendas.

The Chicoms have evidence of corruption so they own a piece of him. The FBI refused to investigate the obvious election fraud and are investigating Hunter, so they own a big piece of him. The DNC stole the election for him so they too own a piece of him.

There will be other players, national and international who own the corrupt fuckwit. It will be interesting to see how he goes when they have competing interests, though for the most part, the deep state and its international benefactors seem on the same page.

The only way to ensure election integrity is to have paper ballots, and count them by hand. Under supervision. If it takes a month, so what? The last election is still in doubt, after a month.

  72. Boris says:

To all those spraying insults at me, I do not support Democrats, let alone BLM etc. I am just saying Trunp the megalomaniac, buffoon, serial fraudster and serial adulterer etc is a false prophet and the reason Democrats are now in power.

In 2016, After eight years of Obama, it was GOP turn to win, so Trumps against a split Democrats wasn’t such an achievement as his fans claim. And that he joined a small club of one term presidents is entirely his fault. Back in January 2020 I predicted that this election was Trumps to lose for many reasons (1) an incumbent has never lost an election when the economy was doing well (2) Democrats are deeply divided. So I concluded it will be walk in the park for Trump unless something unexpected happens. This something came in a form of COVID which Trump mishandled badly. To all those who say he did everything right, just compare American and Australian response. Of course Trump shares the blame with many others, including various states, but he has comprehensively failed to provide leadership, minimizing the threat at every opportunity. I understand he wanted to balance the health response with the economy but their half hazard approach helped neither. Australian approach has been condemned as hurting the economy but it actually hurt the economy less than in the US or other western countries. In hindsight, short and sharp lockdown is actually less damaging for the economy than the long term paralysis caused by partial measures.

Now it is Democrats turn to screw up. I have few illusions.

You are an ignorant, insignificant, uneducated, self opinionated little fellow. Go back to your paint ball skirmish rehearsals, practice darting away from the Federal Police snipers with their red sighting beams, as you claimed at the last protest march you led on the Kynuna Municipal Council Chambers or something.

Feelings of inadequacy have a way of bubbling to the surface.
Sometimes amusing and often so blatant as to be quite embarrassing.
    This is a prime example.
I don’t need to point out the obvious here.

  75. Struth says:

Boris, the lockdown supporter reckons Trump lost because he didn’t lock down hard enough when that is the states call.
You honestly can’t be that thick.
He was sabotaged by propoganda about a Virus that saw massive reclassifications of the normal deaths of oldies, and why the democrat states had larger death numbers…they fudged more figures and blamed Trump.
Then, as he was still winning , they stopped counting and committed mass fraud in the early hours of the morning and the computer system disappeared the republican vote. And you reckon it’s the Trumpster’s fault.
    You’re an ignoramus.

  76. Boris says:

when that is the states call.

Yes the same here yet look at Morrison for comparison. It is called leadership.

No need to impose lockdown on federal level but there is a need to provide leadership, coordination and support.

Just look at the results and compare with Australia. Sure states share part of the blame but it happened on Trumps watch so he paid the price. When there is an achievement on their watch politicians usually take credit even if their involvement had been minimal. They should take the blame too.

He was also flip flopping a lot on the virus, at one point saying this was nothing to worry about and another that he saved millions of lives. People don’t like that.

We don’t throw insults at you….we just tell you the truth about yourself. You have no credibility whatsoever. Oh and since you’re into smearing Trump…anything to say about Biden’s character?

  78. Cassie of Sydney says:

“You honestly can’t be that thick.”

    Boris the Bolshevik is.

  79. Cassie of Sydney says:

I should remind readers that Bolshevik Boris’ opinion about most things is highly dubious…..I clearly remember his claim about Cardinal George Pell and the travesty of justice Pell endured in Victoria….Boris insisted that it wouldn’t have been hard to find people in Victoria for the jury who had never heard of George Pell…..I still laugh out loud at that absurd claim…but the simple fact is that it isn’t a laughing matter because this is the same Cardinal George Pell who was subjected to years of vile smears, innuendo and lies, spruiked and propagated by various leftist and progressive scum at their ABC, Fairfax, social media sewers, a vile song was written by a grub about Pell and received much airplay etc….gosh…there was even a book of lies and smears written about him by a resident ABC louse, published by Melbourne University Press, so we saw an innocent man tried and sentenced by the public even before he went to court and was then subsequently tried and sentenced and then spent over one year in jail……..finally culminating in the 7-0 verdict by the HC.

But Boris believed it would not have been hard to find people in Victoria who would never have heard of George Pell!

I don’t call him Bolshevik Boris for no reason.

Only an idiot can dispute this. Young people, recent immigrants etc. I know many people who don’t have a TV etc. and never watch or listen to Australian news. Instead they read books and watch movies.

I am 100% sure quite is few of such people exist but saying it is not hard to find them maybe an overstatement.

To illustrate this, I have just asked my wife if she has ever heard of cardinal George Pell, and she said no. And she has been in Australia for 20 years. Not in Victoria but still. Think of more recent immigrants etc.

Boris you never liked Pres. Trum from the word go, well before any of the allegations you refer to surfaced.
Only when your TDS symptoms were repeatedly pointed out to you did you somewhat mellowed your criticism.

Now that he is gone you have returned with all guns blazing.
(I still have the copies of your some of your more outrageous posts) Don’t worry can’t be bothered to look for them changes nothing we all know who and what your politics are.

Your claim that your wife never heard of Crn Pell is on par with some of numbers’ claims.
    Really Boris?
Is she really that much of a recluse living in a bunker?

Surely you must have slipped a few facts inadvertently in conversation with friends or acquaintances when she was present?

It’s “Cassie”…not Cassey. Secondly, the smearing, lies and media pile on of Cardinal George Pell, over the decades, dominated ALL MSM……commercial and non-commercial.

Does your little brain comprehend that?
