Still not a single midget appointed to a cabinet-level position

Joe Biden’s achondroplasiaphobia is putting the glass ceiling even more out of reach than usual

As recently as the era of Yeager and Armstrong, you had to really do something to be ennobled in the pantheon of firsts. Now all you need is an unearned genetic trait and a cynical, half-daft 78 year-old.

Communists didn’t do this amongst their own ranks before.
There will never be a female head of China.
Or a poof as President of Russia.
The war lords take control, basically.
When the cultural marxism that sickened the west took it’s toll, it was never meant to be taken seriously at the very top, by the elites.
High up in the military, etc etc, right through to the lowest public servant and all the private enterprise HR depts, it was supposed to ruin our culture, and families, and religions, but the top end of town was never meant to have sick men in dresses in the senate. Or them all getting on no regard to performance but all about genitalia and skin colour. We aren’t going to get the best with diversity picks and the average punter will be shocked at the sickness from the top. Either China will pull their heads in, or the people will revolt.
The sickness will be too hard to control for very long and that’s no good when you are trying to boil frogs……that must be done slowly.

Uh oh. C.L., you go straight to the naughty corner you old offender, you.

Achondroplasiaphobia is the fear of little people or midgets, although this term is not used anymore, as it is considered offensive to people with dwarfism. It is also called Nanosophobia or Lollypopguildophobia.

I ❤️ the lolly pop one. Use that term instead. Sugar isn’t outlawed…yet.

That says far more about the character of the latter-day Congress, Senate and the bugmen masquerading as human beings inside the Beltway (and victory-screeching stooges like yourself, EllenG), than the Orangutan Bard…

  11. calli says:

Struth has outlined the end result of Blair’s Law.

The measured effects of the original glasshouse hypothesis were less than anticipated.

What’s the glasshouse effect on Mars?

    The role of water*
Like flour for a cake, water is an important ingredient of the Earth’s surface. Water makes temperature move slowly. That’s why the temperatures in tropical rainforests does not change much, but the Sahara desert is cold at night. Earth is rich in water.

Let’s have a look at our solid planets. Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun, but it has a very thin atmosphere and is not the warmest planet. Venus is very, very hot. Its atmosphere is rich in carbon dioxide (over 96%) and it is very dense.

The atmosphere of Mars is also rich in carbon dioxide (above 96%), but it is extremely thin (1% of Earth’s atmosphere), very dry and located further away from the Sun. This combination makes the planet an incredibly cold place.

The absence of water makes the temperature on Mars change a lot. The Mars exploration rovers (Spirit at Gusev Crater and Opportunity at Meridiani Planun) experienced temperatures ranging from a few degrees Celsius above zero to minus 80℃ at night: every single Martian day, known as sol.

*Known as a modulator of climate.

Wow a “scientific certainty”. Is that the new term for the “science is settled” mantra? It’s hard to keep up with the rebranding of the global warming/climate change/global heating theory. Do you see this new scientific law fitting into physics, chemistry or perhaps the geoscience field?

But thats not all, a report i read on this site if remember, estimates a 800% increase in world mining rare earths and everything else of course, because you know renewables and electric cars are going to save the planet. 62. Bruce of Newcastle says:

Scientific change = recognition of global climate change from increase in anthropic greenhouse gases changing from a somewhat sketchy prediction 100 years or so ago to a scientific certainty today.

    Haha.

There’re three main variables contributing the temperature rise last century:

    1. Solar modulation of cloud cover (about half)
    2. The ~60 year thermohaline cycle (about a third)
    3. CO2 and everything else (a sixth)

The climateers ignore the first two since they immediately disprove CAGW. And as for you Grip you are ignoring the science. Which is different from scientism, which government climate scientists seem to practice.

I should add the overestimation of ECS (ie the effect of CO2 is why all the models run hot, except the Russian one – which has the lowest ECS value of all of them. And it fits the AMSU temperature series best.

If you want to stick around to learn a bit of climate science please do. Note that you may need the ability to read and understand graphs, and some exposure to statistics and logarithms would help.

  66. Tel says:

There’re three main variables contributing the temperature rise last century:

Most importantly you forgot adjustments, which explain quite a lot, but seriously … bounce back from the Little Ice Age.

There’s a cycle that runs approx 1050 years:
    * Minoan warm period: 3300 years ago.
    * Roman warm period: 2100 years ago.
    * Medieval warm period: 1000 years ago.

The LIA was at the downswing on that, and something around about 2000AD was the upswing. It’s too consistent to be a complete accident, although I don’t claim that it explains everything.

  67. Grip says:

“Deniers lose climate bet” was the news I noticed a coupla days ago. Did you miss that?

I recommend the deniers here continue telling each other their SuperDuper spreadsheet stories, because this audience of those too emotionally invested, and/or short of smarts, to also admit they’ve been wrong for 20 or 30 years is the only group they’re going to convince.

Haha, linking SkS are you Grip? Laughable. I’ve had discussions with Dana a few times on blogs and he’s slunk off in abject failure each time. But then he’s a journalist and I’m a career scientist who knows data and multiple regression analysis.

Here’s an updated version of the model graph I mentioned.

    Climate Model Failure (2 Feb)

The graph is itself fairly old as the recent AMSU data shows the pause has returned despite continual upward rise in pCO2. And it’s been very cold in the UK, US and our summer has been ridiculously cool also.

The Left is wrong in their climate hypotheses, just as they are continually wrong with their economic, social, racial and Covid hypotheses. The leftist house of cards is going to collapse through sheer ineptitude and unreality, like happened in the Soviet Union.

  70. Grip says:

Bet was lost by a bunch of deniers, Bruce. Doesn’t matter where the story is told, it’s still true. Or are you denying it?

  71. Grip says:

Anyway, I’m waiting for today’s posts about how it’s outrageous that competent people are getting high ranking jobs in the Biden administration despite not being white, male, straight or of their original gender identity.

  72. Andre Lewis says:

As for the Biden appointed left-handed, lesbian, communist dwarf with no teeth posters are seeking they may have to settle for Kamala who is not a dwarf (although when on her knees it can look that way) but she probably does take out her false teeth before getting down to business.

  73. Bruce of Newcastle says:

Steal an election, steal a bet. That’s what lefties do.

The Shocking Climate Graph @climateofgavin Doesn’t Want You To See (3 Feb)

Also about half of the data in the terrestrial temperature data is fake, with an “E” next to it in the database. That’s from closures of weather stations. The climateers estimate the value using a model. And the model runs hot because of the wrong ECS entered into it. It’s self fulfilling. The other half of the terrestrial temperature is mainly from airports which legally have to collect such data, and from temperature stations in cities, where climate scientists prefer to live. Both are highly contaminated by the urban heat island effect.

If you want to see uncontaminated data, look at the snow line. It’s easy to measure using a sat pic – just count the pixels. No adjustments necessary.

And the snow cover data says nothing has happened for 25 years, on average. It shows how fraudulent the climateers temperature graphs are.
